  1. The Incabloc is the shock setting that is installed on the balance c0ck and on the mainplate of the movement. Each Incabloc hold a jewel assembly supported by a spring to prevent damage to the balance wheel pivots due to shock, bumps, etc. On the asian rep movements, the Incabloc looks like this. Both openings for the spring are straight sides and shaped somewhat like an "I". REPLICA movement INCABLOC The Genuine Panerai movement on the other hand looks like this, it's got one end that is straight sided, but the other end is curved... GENUINE movement INCABLOC A closer look at the balance c0ck and you will see the detail of the modified jewel setting. GENUINE CLOSE UP I have circled the section that is different on the genuine Panerai movement, you see how the straight sides have been cut away and curved. I don't know who came up with the term "Y", but if you note the shape of the attachment for the spring assembly, it does somewhat look like a "Y". MODIFICATION Here is a standard replica movement, AFTER I modified the Incabloc setting to look like the genuine setting. The work involved requires that the spring and jewel be removed, then the balance wheel is removed, then the setting is pressed out from the balance c0ck, the "Y" is created by hand, it's cleaned up, then re-assembled, balance adjusted, etc. So there you have it, the "Y Incabloc" modification is nothing more than reshaping the Incabloc setting to match the type of setting used on the genuine Panerai's...now you know. Thanks for reading.

  3. Sounds great. Try not to get too steamy about this stuff. We are also not communicating clearly enough for me to continue this. Here's my solution: I'll stick to what I know - which is genuine, 1:1 assembly type watches. You are the official authority on everything else.

  4. I'm thinking that it's possible to turn the a7753 dw into a dwo for an eta7753 disk with some serious honing or if the a7753 dw construction permits peeling off the top layer somehow. It'll be difficult getting the alignment right but should be doable.

  6. Hamilton has several in their Khaki Aviation Pilot series that would fit the bill. Could also look at Archimede, Laco, Sinn and Damasko. If you want to go vintage, look at Laco, and Longines.

  9. with following pictures i want to introduce the new h-factory pam 380 radiomir black seal. a perfect looking radiomir. the case shape is accurate in all details, the both lug-wire have the perfect slant and are correct close to the case. the strap change is very easy, no problems with the screws. the crown has the smooth screw-down effect, the crown shape is smooth and not sharp-edged, a very comfortable wind-up feeling. the sapphier has a perfect clarity with colorless AR. the caseback has the right and correct deep engraving. dial and hands looks accurate in all details, the luminosity is great, the strap is very well made and has a great wearing comfort, the movement 21.600bph works absolute fine. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_45&products_id=9329 enjoy rolli
