You could send it to Phong at JewelleryAndWatch. He will engrave it for you and do a perfect job. I never saw any Rolex without engraving between the lugs.

I think the engraving is standard on all 16610's. The other option is to buy another case from TC with engraving, remove the rehaut engraving yourself then swap your era and bezel etc into it. Perhaps you could then sell the non engraved mid case to recoup costs? I know it sounds like a pain but the construction and de construction of the sub is simple. It's like a Lego set!

In my opinion it definitely looks better brushed than polished. Plus it is accurate to how the gen was. For mine, I used a bezel removal tool like this one: Once removed, I used an old Tape Machine that just so happened to have a pinch roller that was the exact diameter as the inside of the bezel. I just ran the tape machine on slow, and held a titanium refinishing pad on top of the bezel while it slowly spun around. Took me about 10 minutes to get a nice, even, circular brushed look.

Mickey Padge asked me to fix up his 42mm Exp2. I'm not covering the 1st part of the fix which was to rotate the dial so it's in the correct x-y axis (Mickey himself did that) and re-attaching the DWO to it (I got my watchsmith partner to do it). This post is about popping and re-installing the crystal so the cyclop is lined up to the date window. First, double-tape up the lugs Stick a utility blad between the case and the bezel Use a mallet to pound the utiltiy blade in like I did on this 39mm exp2 You'll get a gap when the blade got all the way in You can then use a caseback knife to pry off the bezel Bezel is now off the case You wouldn't scratch the lugs. Scratches are all under the bezel so no problem there You need to use a press to press DOWN (not UP) on the crystal to get it out of the bezel. It's very tight. Now put back the gut. Line up 12 o'clock to the engraved coronet on the rehaut Wipe clean the crystal, fit it on the gasket, put them on the watch Crystal and gasket are on the watch squarely Position the bezel on the watch Press the bezel down with a press Finished. But crap!! The bezel shifted. It's not lined up properly to the dial. M***ER F**K*R! Start over. Finally done and lined up. This time I was holding the bezel as I advanced the press so it wouldn't shift. Should have done that in the first place. Happy modding. -bk

Hi guys. I recently got my straps from Panatime, but not received the watches I ordered yet. By mistake, they went via UK. Hope they will land here anytime next week. The strap I was thinking of putting on the BlackSeal Ceramic 380N is this one. I think it will be a great combo. The strap from Panatime is massive, at least 5mm thick all the way, I think it is almost 5,5mm. And the PVD rivets and buckle will be nice together with the dark ceramic case. Here is the strap, watch and strap togheter will be posted, once I am set with both.

I've seen plenty of older Bond subs, using Luminova, that have a good amount of patina. No need for tritium if the color of the lume is the main concern.
