Just finished up another build today. This one's been sitting in my parts bin for quite a while now. Quite like the Slytech PAM's but I don't really fancy the PVD ones so I went for a 205a. Of course this required a very special case. When I saw w0lf was making some modified 111 cases into PreV cases, I jumped on the chance to order one. I must admit that his work is impeccable!! I have yet to see such a great looking case set!! Dial is from Martyd3. Caseback is of course a Jakob case back. Nice and thick with excellent engravings! CG is a V CG modified by the Zigmeister. Hands are FGD PreV hands with the lighter colored, non matching lume. Hope you enjoy! First strap in the pics is the Frogman PAV 99. Last set of pics is a Strapworks black calf.

some genuine watches. I have in the past built up watches and have been through a million problems with dials, hands and cases. A while back I was going to build a 5508 but God reached down from heaven and handed me one. Recently I installed a Explorer style dial in a 1018 and previously I have swapped movements and cases only to find problems with Datejust calendars being different than Submariners and so on. I have also found that aftermarket seconds hands rarely fit good and often the center seconds pinion is too large to fit into the tube on the seconds hand. Anyway here are a few pics. I have posted a few times here but this is kind of a reintroduction. I want to build a Plastic crystal Daytona with V72 and Texas dial but really what I want is to just buy one already done for me. ANyone know how much I should pay for a completed project like that??

I buy reps because I cannot afford the gen of all the watches I like.....reps buy me variety. Gen owners dislike fakes/reps because they steal the design which is illegal and sell it at a lower price. We can convince ourselves that gens aren't worth the inflated price, in truth, this is irrelevant. They are luxury items and priced highly because they are exclusive and intended for people with enough disposable income to purchase them...reps destroy this exclusivity.

It's a popular notion in the UK, like BMW drivers are all man-child pricks in the USA. Don't take it personally. If you watch the UK series "Top Gear" it becomes obvious.

Cillit bang for 3-4 min before bleaching could help. It worked for mined wich did not react only with bleach...

Trusty vs. Kuravist is easy = same exact watch Only difference is the strap. Kuravist makes and I believe now exclusively sells the best rep version of the asso strap. So I guess I would say that is a better watch overall ; however a riskier purchase. Trusty is a trusted delaer and gauranteed to come through for you and I would expect top notch service. Kuravist is not a trusted dealer, so using him you are taking on more risk and I believe payment options would be more limited and would not expect as great a service experience. DSN is really a wild card as I have not seen this before and has been introduced with no fanfare. From the picture only it seems to be a different watch than the H factory version. Although the CG seems better it is still not as good as the newest Noob cg's nor is the fit to the case. It probably is a better CG than the H factory version sold by Trusty and Kurvasit though. Quality of the AR / Crystal impossible to tell based on pics between the 2. The lume color on the dial looks off on DSN"s compared to the others and the lume looks to be applied even taller (more sausage like) which is an issue. The gen has very flat lume, the H factory slightly raised which is a flaw and this DSN one seems even more raised So not only height application but also sahde of color of lume seems worse on the DSN Lastly in DSN's favor the hands appear to be close rin color to the gen. Have heard the gen in real life looks more rose gold than the rep and DSN's hand color does seem better in that regard. Would love to hear other's opinions. Maybe DSN is not any different than the H Factory version and just the different photos are making it look different to me? It were my money I would go with the H Factoory version rather than take a chance on an unknown. The H-Factory is a fantastic watch and if the CG really bothers you the only perfect solution is to go with a noob case and cg (which is costly) But for the value of the forum would prefer you tried out DSN's and reported back. Mike - Generally speaking, I agree with you. But when emotions start heating up, causing private email addresses & other personal information to get posted, especially when I am not convinced that a scam (which I define as knowingly & purposely misleading a buyer into purchasing an item based on a fraudulent description) has occurred, I think little good can result. Especially, in this case, where the issue has nothing directly to do with RWG (the transaction in question occurred on another website). I realize others may view this differently, but that is my take.
