I was beginning to think these would be released on the twelfth of never, but it seems there is some evidence to suggest they are in production. Angus gives some details that they will be released this summer: Some very limited sneaks, the dials and crystals are not done yet:1 point

Unfortunately these are minor things that we have to deal with when purchasing REPS. I'm pretty new here but already made 3 purchases from different TD's. all Hublots above the 400 dollar mark. I did encounter minor issues, mostly dirt on hands and sub dials, some of these flaws weren't noticed when I approved the QC pics. Other issues that I pointed out got addressed by the TD's. Initially I expected that that all my purchases will be in 100% perfect condition but in reality these are a few hundred dollar watch replicas of 10thousand dollar and up Gen watches, so I guess minor issues are unavoidable. I started enjoying the Rep watches I purchased even more when I found a local wostep certified watchmaker that agreed to service them. IMO its really a hassle to send it back to china for minor issues and most replica movements need servicing anyway so why not just get it serviced locally? the wait won't be as long and youre actually upgrading the watch, and not just getting a direct replacement of the same one from the factory.1 point

A good idea with new DSSD's is to pop out the pearl and re glue it, as they tend not to be very well glued. Do a quick search and you will see some advice on this. In particular not to use superglue. It is really easy to do, only taking a few secs. Get a good two part epoxy glue, and it will be in there for ever.1 point

I would go noob 111, having owned a couple of Getats and a 111, the quality of the 111 far exceeds the getat IMO. The 6497 movement is ultra reliable and I presume the same for both watches, so its a decision based purely on fit and finish plus your personal preference.1 point

Well...I don't know about the quality of the pam111 v3 but since I owned 8 Getat pam hommages I know a bit about them. The movements are pretty good but the case quality isn't. On three of my 8 the tread for the strap pin was damaged and on 6 (all 6 Luminor cases the other 2 were Radiomir cases) cases the lever action was close to loose. And...I didn't try on mine but I heard from others that the cases aren't waterproof in any way. One isn't even able to wash his hands without probably getting water into the watch... I wouldn't pay 192$ for a Getat hommage anymore...if you can get one for 90-100$ that would be okay I guess. For almost 200$ at least I expect to get more....my2cents1 point

I never quite understood a poll to ask "which watch should I buy"? The only one that can really answer that question is you. Of the ones you have listed, which one do YOU really like? If you live in a place where there are AD's go in and look at the genuine article. Which one looks the best on you, which feels the most comfortable, and finally which one are you happy with? Personally, I don't particularly care about any of your choices, primarily because I prefer vintage watches, mainly Rolex. What I like is really not important, because you are the one who will need to be happy with your purchase. Of course as someone above posted, buy all of them with the idea that you wear each of them for a week, and then select the one you like the best.1 point

"Oh no, another Omega Planet Ocean review" I hear you cry. We have enough of these, don't we? But I have recently made reviews of all my new rep purchases and members have found them useful - so why this one should be the exception? As soon as the 4th generation PO surfaced it has easily been the most popular replica watch among the members. And for good reason. Because of its overwhelming popularity and status I thought it deserves a "reference guide". I already wrote this guide a while back and just added pictures when my own 4th gen arrived. Again I tried to link all essential reviews of this rep to one article, so you can consider this review a "PO addition" into my Omega Guide. But let's quickly do the "basics" again: The biggest difference between the 45mm and 42mm models (plus the size and case of course) is the clasp. The 45mm version has the engraving "Seamaster PROFESSIONAL PLANET OCEAN" while the 42mm version only has engraving "Seamaster PLANET OCEAN". The 4th gen PO is a replica of the smaller version, and thus the clasp engraving is correct. Another difference is the Omega logo placement on the dial. In 45mm version it should be further apart from the OMEGA text, and in 42mm version it's closer, which the rep tries to emulate. On the rep the logo is a bit too close. But I believe there are differencies between the individual watches. I've seen the logo actually go _over_ the Omega text in some members' watches, while it seems to be placed nicely in my watch. The luminous effect of the 4th Gen PO isn't as good as the gen (naturally), but it's still the best I've ever seen on any unmodified replica watch. I briefly owned the 3rd generation PO. It was an excellent replica watch. The lack of PLANET OCEAN engraving on the clasp and other flaws didn't bother me the slightest... but perhaps a bit "pale" orange bezel color and very dark datewheel font did. So I eventually traded it. Still, I can highly recommend it to anyone - as great deals of the 3rd gen can be found. There's absolutely no difference in quality, weight and feel. I was without a PO for months because I only buy from EU dealers... and for some strange reason none of them were able to source this rep. But it was only a matter of time when I had this fun watch on my wrist again. I bought mine from a fellow member (Sevomd) and it was shipped to me from EU by Edge to avoid customs trouble (big thanks Edge, it's very much appreciated). This is the best and friendliest community I've ever been a member of. The hands were excellent in the 3rd gen. They're a bit too small in the 4th version. If the hand length bothers you, you can always buy genuine hands and install them yourself. Like I said, the weight and solid quality feel is there (just like in the 3rd version). Here's the traditional review wristshot: Planet Ocean 4th generation is a remarkable replica watch and I suspect it eventually becomes a RWG classic like MBW vintages and "Bond" Seamaster. Another "must have" watch for all hardcore rep nerds.1 point
