Roger that, cc. He asked me to take that pic, and I laughed out loud as I did. Someone once told me the Greek root for the word "character" means "to scratch." That has an interesting connotation: two stones in a riverbed will bang against each other and grind away until they're both worn smooth with lots of scratches, and a good fit to each other. I don't want to go through life untouched by my environment. I wear my scars with pride. I'm sure I've scarred more than a few people. A scar is a consequence for something you've done. Life is full of consequences, good and bad. It usually hurts when you receive one, and that is a learning experience. Learning experiences bring knowledge, but wisdom is acquired with scars. Judgement comes with wisdom. We can undo some of our actions, but we cannot remove our scars, nor can we remove scars from others. So we set up rules we can agree to, and we try our darnedest to follow them, so fewer people get hurt. And the consequence for breaking those rules is another scar. In the end it's up to each of us how many scars we're willing to wear.3 points

Wow this news could bring down the whole rep watch community and all people associated with it....Or in reality it will get him banned from all rep boards and the thread will get locked and deleted on the gen forums. People come people go some trying to be more important than they are in reality.3 points

Lets me see if I can recap 1) He repeatedly didnt follow the rules 2) He was a colorful poster ( I also enjoyed his post) 3) He was known for his passionate convictions, which at times could be unwilling. 4) He was sanctions in the past through warnings and time out. 5) The mods hit their tolerance limit 6) He was bannned 7) Several members knew his actions would eventually get him banned. But was a surprise to him. He was his donation money returned (I personally think that is a very reasonable request, but most forums would return it. But I think the money should be returned ASAP) 9) He may or may not have threaten some sort of action thru a third person - which has non positive benefits 10) His friends have come to his defense and maybe lobbying for him behind the scenes all while doing a sorta "intervention" for him. Did I miss something ? if I didn't the thread could have when something like this ? What happen to Z -He got banned Why ? -You know, Z was just being Z and the mods have had enough. The talked about it and the decided he would probably never going to follow the rules despite how many chances they gave him But, His post was good reading and he loved this place -Yeah, but no one is above the rules. oh ok, But since I have your attention. Can you tell me who has the best sub ? -1 point

These threats are idiotic. if he wants to widely publicize the names of the TD's and modders, this is inconvenient, and a disservice to members who may have to wait until new paypal accounts and websites are set up, but its not like the big watch companies were turning a blind eye to these guys anyhow. It is extremely childish to make a threat like this and breaks all of the rules of this forum. I think this entire thread should be deleted as it is totally uninteresting. I would also be willing to bet that Tomas415 is Zeleni under a different login. If Z wants to turn in all of his ex friends to the authorities because he feels people on the internet were not nice to him, he should go for it. It is a good way of losing all respect people might have for you. And who really cares!1 point

Thanks for considering me as 1. stupid 2. the one who can hit the button when he wants As Freddy said "And when action is taken against a member, you can be reasonably confident that it was done only after a great deal of consideration." Every move from the staff takes time as you noticed in the past; banning is taking even more time. Not a single member of the staff will make a move without the support of the majority. That is why some members criticized us in the past too...because our decisions take too much time. Robbie was banned a long time ago when he was here under another nickname. Under this one he has been suspended and when coming back he didn't get it, again, and broke many rules, again. There have been several times in the past months where his status here have been discussed. So, no, this decision wasn't take in a matter of hours, more in a matter of months. The question of today is more why you started this topic with the intention to promote threats against RWG. You seem to like the idea that some members of the staff are personally targeted by revenge! I wonder why that is. Who are you Mr. Messenger? Tell us more about you. As TwoTone repeatedly said, this forum is not a democracy. There are rules that must be followed by every member including by contributing ones. Cheers Stephane1 point

Pretty useless stating that, are you aware for instance that after being banned the first time, he thought he has sneaked in through the back door with a new handle but he was in fact spotted on day one and the team voted to say nothing and give him a second chance? He had no bones at all with his first ban, you think any of the other boards would be so accommodating? I am pretty sure also that our Admin will refund any donations and that is regardless of the fact that I am sure we actually gave him a free upgrade at one point. Is it ok to ban him? Yes of course it is, no one is above being banned, I have already stated that. Ken1 point

Some say revenge is sweet, but in most cases in the end it's not. What generally happens is the seeker of revenge finds himself alienated and marginalized by both sides. Certainly if he goes through with this threat, he will be persona non grata on every rep board. No dealer is going to trust him as they may find themselves the victim of his next vendetta.. And that brings us to the threats, who is he really going to hurt? If he publishes the names and addresses of the modders here on RWG, what do you think that the consequences of that disclosure will be? Will we cower in fear and lock our watches away, afraid to send them to the modders lest they be confiscated? I hardly think so, I sure as Hell won't. Do you think the police will come knocking on their door? Will the Rolex lawyers mount a direct attack on them? hardly possible, they are fixing watches, not selling them, so who is really going to be hurt by this, I'll tell you when the dust settles, it will be him. Probably a lot of chatter for a very short time, and then everything will die down, and forgotten, but long after the whole thing is forgotten, he will still be ostracized by all watch forums. I'm sure there are a few on the genuine watch forums that will giggle, turn summersaults and dance gleefully around the fire, but for the most part, the real guys will look at him just as those here look at him, an angry, spitefully man who is out to settle a score. I seriously doubt that most will pay him scant attention. Their reaction will predictably be, this man is selling out his friends, if he does that to them, will we be next? If he expects a hero's welcome on the genuine forums, I'm afraid he is in for real disappointment. It would be best for all involved if he would cool down, take a step back and look at the long term consequences, not just for the RWG folks, but to him. Unfortunately, folks that are this angry and bitter don't see things rationally, so I suppose it will play out to the end. Let the chips fall where they may!!1 point

As much as I hate to say it, these are very costly projects. But, on the other hand, done well, they provide the feel/function of any other gen 62xx Daytonas @ a fraction of the price (even if that fraction is still a hefty sum to a civilian). Oh & sorry about the hard-ons. Try wearing baggy trousers & it will be our little secret. 1stly, with scam-style pics (small & dark) & only 16 previous sales (his only previous visible sale, a Daytona dial, which is itself questionable), you should assume this to be an aftermarket part until/unless he can prove otherwise (with a concrete provenance). 2nd, after a bit of image-editing to unhide some of the details, I am still not clear whether it is a poorly printed gen or poorly printed aftermarket part (my gut says the former, but we are not on speaking terms right now ). 3rd, what you describe as a 'nick' is pretty serious damage & I also see some 'nicks' around the 60. If you want to gamble on it being a damaged gen, then its value is up to you, the buyer. Without much better pics, I would probably keep my powder dry & wait for the next 1.1 point
