  8. Try a vintage Doxa, Longines or Eberhard. 60 years old watches that you can buy for the price of super replica, or even less than that.

  11. Bump Got hold of a gen for a bit, we need that nice rep! We are going for the blue 38.5mm and then rep grey and white after, perhaps 41.5mm if sales are good...lets hope so! Size comparo vs 38.5 quartz left, franken 42mm PO, 41.5mm AT. Vs JLC NSD rep: Only noticing recently that black is a bit of a cracker also!

  12. +1 It's highly unlikely that most of will ever see someone wearing a gen FC Diver, so unless you've seen a gen and have a photographic memory, who will notice, indeed!

  13. Well after a great deal of R&D here is the prototype. This is the 3602, I shaved down the bridges to remove the Russian engraving and added my own. Then gave it a quick nickle plating. I need to refine how I shave down the bridges so as not to go so deep and need to work on the brushed bridge finish. I probably will not be able to remove the Russian text on the CDG movements, but I will try some different things I have in mind. Sure wish I could find a way to do CDG, anyone out there know what kind of bit is used? Here are some quick and dirty pictures.

  14. So I guess the appropriate adage for gen watches using ETA is start with an ebauche and go from there.
