This one is purely cosmetic. JJ worked his magic as always, and I was quite specific with my desired look - the results do not disappoint. This was a planned walk in purchase on a summer trip to Bangkok (Brothers stag do) so lots of memories tied up in the piece. I have not had the time to photograph myself but was desperate to share the joy plus JJ's rolex angles and lighting probably cant be beaten. Anyway enough chatter here's the porn, enjoy. Afternoon guys I just ordered my 3rd rep, an IWC Mark XVII with Andrew and received a tracking number which indicates it will be sent by DHL. My last two orders were sent by EMS/Parcelforce and both arrived within 8 days with no customs problems, delays etc etc.... so was expecting the same again. Is it usual for dealers to 'switch up' their delivery methods to the UK? Are there any pros/cons of one over the other? Any experience you have had with DHL to UK I'd be interested to hear. M. there are various versions of the panda, which one do are you looking for? I am me to a huge Panda fan....and always poking for a better solution to my crap version of a speedmaster panda for 90$ with a crooked Omega insigna and and and....etc all is crooked!

Pretty sad that they police the VRF to the point that folks cannot get info out or people who have been scammed can't post. AFA Steve Mulholland, I had several dealings with him a few years ago, and all of them turned out fine. however he apparently went "off the reservation" big time about a year ago, scammed some folks for a bunch of high end Rolex vintage watches. I would imagine when it's all said and done, he was into folks for many thousands of dollars. His excuse was he got married, and his new bride cleaned out his watches, as well as his bank accounts. He was on the Rolex Forum and the VRF for a time, with his tales of woe, promised to get everything straightened out and make restitution to everyone, which apparently he didn't. Sort of sounds familiar doesn't it? Same song, second verse right here on RWG with our little modder/ repair person. Almost like he read Mulholland's Script and followed it to a "T"

AFAIK the new LMPO is made by the Noob factory, Josh doesn't sell Noob factory watches. Josh has a long history of trashing the Noob factory, even as much as saying that the Noob factory was closed.... Try Puretime, Torobravo, etc as they do sell Noob watches.

Nice and this will be probably my last rep, what I will buy. Dont need any more watches - specially 7750 inside, but I have to buy that one.. Like that look and dial color..

The new Blacpain FF is gonna be about $500" All the various fora, reply "$500...Jeez, that' a lot of greenbacks, not sure i'll be paying that" A week or so later and the word on the street (surprise surprise) is that the new FF is actually gonna be $800 "Spread the word....The new FF is gonna be $800" Sooooooo....everyone then thinks.."Well actually $500 big ones ain't so bad" ...and that my friends is how it goes........lol

Both dealers have the same watch (V5), so you just pick the one you feel the most comfortable with, the one that has the best ,shipping/payment plan for you ,etc. I'm very torn between the V4.1 and the V5, can't make up my mind. I have a Forged Carbon Diver V3 from the same factory that makes the V5 S/S AP, and it's as close to gen as you can get with out a lot of modding. There is a pretty long thread over in the AP forum on repgeek, 4.1 vs V5 pretty comprehensive comparison of the flaws on each. might be a good idea to go over and read that one. Honestly, both are very good. Since AP's are pretty scarce out in the real world, I seriously doubt that you would ever have a problem with either one as far as being "called out". unless you happen to encounter an AP WIS who happens to have the identical genuine watch and a 5X loupe, you are not going to have to worry. I believe that a whole lot of the problems folks encounter with reps have more to do with the guy wearing the watch, rather than the watch itself. I've said this countless times, if you look and dress like the guy that can carry off a 22K watch, you will never be questioned, if you are an 18 year old college student driving a 10 year old beat up car, you are not going to be able to pull off a vintage Rolex Paul Newman Daytona. My first thought when I see someone like this is "That's a fake Rolex"!! Even though the guy may be wearing a genuine Rolex that his grandfather handed down to him, just about 100% of the folks who know watches will believe it's a replica until proven otherwise. Nice thing about AP's is they sort of fly under the radar, as they are not a brand with a lot of name recognition, so most folks won't have a clue as to what they are.
