Hi all, I wanted to share what can be done based on the ol'cartel cases retailed by JMB. They are truly the perfect candidate to make a first series Explorer 1 case. All 3 elements have been re-engine turned here : caseback, mid case and bezel. Inside runs a ETA, held by a custom made brass holder for a perfect mount ! Cheers !!!!1 point

I recently ordered an IWC 0156 from Andrew, and when it arrived right out of the package the second hand was spinning like crazy. Days turned into minutes, minutes to seconds, and I am asking myself... Where has all the time gone? I digress. Anyhow, I asked Andrew what the deal might be, and he suggested I wind the watch 30 rotations or so, and let it wind down, repeat for a few days and perhaps it might correct itself. After doing this for about a week I'm convinced this trick ain't working. I really don't want to run the risk by sending it back for repair. Is anyone familiar with this kind of issue, who might be able to point me to more info/possible fix. Many thanks,1 point

This arrived yesterday. My first vintage Sub:). Slapped a 7836 on her for now. Need to put a super dome plexi and a new insert. But I do dig it. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.1 point

If the second hand spinning crazy when you winding and with any movement of the watch- there is no palette fork connection between escapement wheel Most likely no jewel in palette fork1 point

I grew up in South Florida back in the 70's and 80's when the "Cocaine Cowboys" ran the place. There's not much I haven't seem when it comes to contraband importation. Maybe that's why I'm drawn to counterfeit watches..1 point
