  1. He states that the case uses a T19, so would assume the retaining ring and bezel are gen spec or at least gen-like... You could ask him what size insert the bezel will accept (gen inserts are 36.55mm OD). As far as the case goes, here is my brief list: Lug profile is a bit off.. the taper from the mid section to the lug tip starts too early (this cannot be fixed) insert is terrible, but that is to be expected (this can be replaced) crown height is too low (not fixable without major surgery) back of CG's are not very good and is angled incorrectly (potentially fixable) mid section of case, at the base of the crown guards, is too thick.. the lugs are slightly fat... but the Yuki case suffers from the same thing. (fixable) caseback appears to be way too tall/thick.. (not fixable) the CG's looks a bit too pointy.. I think this is a result of the low crown position as the tips of the CG's should be colinear with the center of the crown. (not fixable) Rehaut looks to be a touch too deep.. again, mostly likely a compensation of the lower crown height.. (not fixable) On the bright side, it is 1/2 the cost of the Yuki case and it will accept a gen movement. Bezel looks acceptable

  2. inspired by the earliest of rolex and pams prototypes for the 3646. So, parts: Case, Nejad 3646 reshaped and thinned, including squared off neck around the crown tube. ( thank you V and L ) Dial, Daytona, painted and lumed by me. movement, hammered brass, Swiss vintage arnex 6498. coin edge ring is by Sjef thanks for such a quick turn around on this. hands, binbin, sized, blued complete with bent tip on the minute hand. seconds came from one of the 6498's I had. strap made by me, thanks to Bloo for the offcut it's like butter on the wrist. Buckle of course is by Elias. Lume on the dial and hands is a mix of Cornholio's and V10 for the graininess.

  4. I just sold a complete bracelet like this to Davey who is also in the UK. He only really needed some links so might let you buy the clasp, or if your wrists are not too big you might be able to work something out. Regards AJ

  8. Not trying to show off, but since we're posting pics of our watches in cars, thought I'd give it a go. First pic is the standard "make sure the logo on the steering wheel is in the shot". This next one shows the quality of the professionally installed* aftermarket steering wheel cover. *May or may not have been professionally installed, it was there when I bought the car.

  9. I do not wear a watch just to check or keep time and I do not drive a car for transportation. I drive a car to drive a car. As some have stated, definite correlation as both can be much more than just mechanisms for a task. Much more of an emotional pursuit than a practical one for me. Also sometimes on a busy day, best time to get a wrist shot for the day is in traffic.

  12. Well if you pay thousands of dollars on a watch, from a user who has 3 positive rating from years ago, you deserve to be separated from your money
