  2. I was looking for a picture of my old MBW and found this one again. It's too pretty not to put up again.

  3. Thanks for all the kind words. Changed bracelet. Modified a Yuki 93250. Drilled out to take 2mm bars. Beat it up with a wire brush, took the polish off the sides. Then finished with synthetic 000 steel wool. WSO 580 end links seem to fit the best with a little sanding. Soaked her in bike lube and mineral oil and.... I think this will work nicely until I find a gen. In all honesty for $75 and 5 hours of labor it looks and feels great. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  4. A, folks change their minds all the time. Situations change, sometime suddenly. It happens to everyone. The wife walks in and announces your daughter needs braces, your car dies, you get a big tax bill, etc. .,etc., .etc. What irks me is the guy who doesn't have the common courtesy of a short PM, "Sorry, something has come up and I just can't buy your watch, GLWS" That's just a courtesy that everyone should not even have to think twice about.

  6. Switched to a strap. Spent the morning refinishing a Yuki bracelet that I think may work for her. Now enjoying a Padron. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  7. And sure enough this JUST happened to me. My action? Post their username on the sales thread as a time waster. Hopefully a future seller looks up their name and activity to see the past issue. Maybe this is the way we all help each other out. "I'll take the watch, sending payment now" and in reality nothing was ever sent or communication to even say he changed his mind. Frustrating. http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/175110-FS%3A-WM9-TT-16613-%28CONUS%29

  9. Hey all, Thought I'd put some feelers out here to gauge interest on which vintage rollie dials are in demand. I'm a graphic designer by day and am considering trying my hand at replicating (to a high degree) several vintage dials. What are some dials you guys would like to see/need to improve?
