  4. I have been contemplating a career change for quite some time, going back and forth with what I wanted to do when I grow up lol. After a lot of thought and indecisivness, the decision was clear as day. There is an AWCI School located not far from where I live. I will be starting there in the not to distant future and cannot be more excited. Will for sure take this "hobby" of mine to a different level. Anyways, just excited and thought I would share. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

  6. Has TRF banned you yet? You have committed a grievous sin over there... I personally would probably leave it alone and build a pure rep in a rep 34mm case. You can use the Yuki dial, rep case, and ETA movement to create something very credible and nobody is going to know what's inside but you. But, if that matters to you then I suppose if using the Yuki in your 1002 is what counts! You can always swap dials back out if you decide it needs to remain "pure" as the driven snow!

  13. Wowwwwwww what an amazing result! That's one to be very very proud of. It's funny, but my whole collection is gen vintages and since I did the Gonzo it's the only one that gets any wrist time. There's just something about a Big Crown, and you knocked this one outta the park! Well done.

  17. Too a large degree , fashion has fanned Panerai's growth and increased awareness and subsequent demand. But fashions change and brands can soon turn from leaders to followers with that fickle set. Times are also changing with less young consumers even bothering to wear a watch for many years now - Ok not exactly Panerai consumers, but they grow up. Panerai should survive and prosper , provided they can bend quickly enough if the market "wind" bears down on them. Personally , I am not a fan of many of the modern pieces , despite innovation and in house movements they lack the simplicity and charm that is Panerai's DNA.
