  1. This is a Snowflake budget build that I completed about two weeks ago. It was meant to be a project that could be completed for under $250. Sooo, that meant I was unable to do some of the more detailed things like the engraved caseback, gen spec 580 end links, send out to get case reshaped etc. But I think it looks great for the investment and it accomplishes exactly what I was looking for. The parts are: Case: cartel 5512 Hands: raffles Dial: raffles I haven't aged this one apart from a little bit of hour marker aging which can't really be seen in the pics. I plan on doing the insert sometime soon. But for now, I;m enjoying the new old stock look. Next build will be a Tudor 7922 big crown! I'm excited about that one as well!

  5. Hi, I´m not a specialist on these but as a general rule try to buy only a watch that has been purchased, reviewed and pictured by a member. That way You get to see what is otherwise "hidden" or not mentioned. Skip the others. 1:1 and used a genuine doesn´t mean too much either in relation to the gen because of limitations in caseset thickness or dial position, although it does imply that other models are better. For this specific watch I would go with the somewhat similar OS20 quartz version, these are normally microsteppers so the chrono seconds should sweep, it´s the FM046c if You search on the site with "same caseset as the A7750" version, which is generally a good sign. As nothings breaks, squeaks or rattles on a quartz, I find them often to better replicate a gen feeling and reliability, but that´s just my opinion.

  8. The dial sure has character! Show us the build when complete! Wash out your bezel insert 30 seconds with some Destop or other extreme toilet cleaner. It will give it a nice patina. Just put some on rubber gloved and massage a bit before rinsing aboudandly.
