  1. After my lovely 5500 Explorer build, here is my 6610 project almost completed. I'm not satisfied with my lume work, so I will make another dial later. Hands will be replaced too with nicer Clark's Tudor. But I'm please to wear it for the moment. jmb V2 6610 case kit with bubble back. Vintaged Raffles hours and minutes hands. Lollipop second hand unknown. True gilt glossy dial. Non hacking ETA 2824-2. [emoji632]

  3. Another masterpiece from Sacsah and Mike. Some people get really hung up on the cost of these things but it's your money to do what you want with and also I guess most of the cost is in genuine parts, which since they are not modified to fit an ETA movement will always be genuine parts and worth money, they may even increase in value over time. A two thousand discount on a bran new watch and anyone who buys a genuine isn't going to sell it secondhand for the price he paid unless he holds on to it for half a lifetime. Enjoy.

  4. This is certainly one of the most impressive build i have seen, congratulation ! And i am a big fan of the Hulk ! You have something like 5000 euros in this build i guess and...fortunately it stays below the gen price as it is sold 8300 euros here in France

  5. The cuts in the straps are standard and every single piece would be the same. They do not affect the durability of the straps. Message crafted while riding a leathery juvenile T-Rex and charging toward the horizon.

  7. I vaguely remember some to do back in the day , I was just a new member. (nobody with a beef?) Well we will give it a few days and see............ Quite the contrary my friend, although you will see us step in to stop witch hunts and lynching parties outside the bounds of jurist prudence in such matters best the members decide. How do we know the difference well a wise politician once said (yes at one time there were such people!) in regard to a case on pornography in regard to writing a law on what was and what was not "I know it when I see it".

  9. Thank you Mike. I do know spin personally and he is a regular family guy with a job and an interest in horological modifications like a lot of us. He is a competent and capable watch smith in my opinion. I have worked with him in the past two years, to churn out modded AP divers and other modded AP watches and without bias, I do think that he does a good job on those. Whatever happened in the past could have marred his reputation in some way, but I am here to assure the community that he is not a scammer, or a greedy person. I would advocate that we give him a chance to return, he would be an asset to our community, especially those based in Asia. We have great and knowledgeable guys like Misiekped, SSteel, Rolexman etc based in the CONUS and Europe, let us welcome someone who could help guys based in Asia and even the Middle East. I will vouch for his competence and trustworthiness. He is a personal friend and like I said, I've worked with him many times and I know him well. 11. Love the idea of getting members involved. The mods and flavor here here is awesome [emoji1303] Just hope it stays civilized. Never dealt with him personally but bought a DW Spinmaster 6263 a couple years ago from the original owner who never did anything to it. The mod work and assembly was excellent. It was a very nice, very good running Franken. I am always for giving people second chances.

  17. Does anyone know if its possible to laser weld a screwed up hole? I had the same experience once and it ended up with one hole being bigger, oval shape.
