If it were me I'd buy the older style SD, one for looks and also for the value down the road but you need to buy the one that talks to you bud and forget what all of us silly buggers think

Well these decisions are personal, individual and often ruled by the heart. Maybe the earlier model will be better when you come to sell. Perhaps keep a picture of both on your desktop for a while and see which you are most drawn to. Buy the one you want and don't feel the need to justify the purchase to others.

@dinosaur1 You may feel very aggrieved at your treatment on another forum, you may be justified in feeling aggrieved, but I would advise you to read again what Mike said. He said we are not looking to retry what happened there and wished you luck in sorting it out.

Another small update I fixed the crooked crown issue. When I swapped in the 1675 movement, I used the crown and stem from the 1675 case/ movement. When I got home today I compared the crown on the 1655 case and it is slightly larger than the 1675 so I opened it up..pulled the stem and tried the original crown that came on that case (the 1655) and it fit proper. The 1655 explorer crown is larger as and the tube is also that what comes on the 1675. The stem works on both as they are both ETA. Installed the 1655 crown and stem into the movement. but then went to adjust the time and the crown was loose on the stem. removed it once again to tighten up the crown on the stem...reinstalled and BUGGERED UP THE KEYLESS WORKS!!! *headbang* FSA!! BCP!!! .......OR so I thought. I fiddled with it a bit and tried installing it a few more times and somehow by the luck and power of the Horology gods I got it installed and working again!! Thank FRICKING GOD!! No idea how...so dont ask....but I was able to set the date and time and wind.....talk about dodging a bullet and fixing the grown issue..... I am counting my lucky stars and am not gonna fuk with it until I have the dial and hands ready to install and even then I am going to buy a new movement for this watch so that I can replace this movement and dial back into my 1675.. anyway...time for a beer and some food!!

On the QC pictures that we have, it is obvious that the dent was not there. However this is not the issue for us, because even if I can prove that the watch was sent in perfect condition (see qc pics) I trust this buyer because he is a long time member in the forums and was buying many watches from me So analysing the situation I suggested him to send the watch to Spain and I dissect it and sell it spare parts, and either refund or send him new watch. I don´t think I can do better than this.

Hey gents, Short little update. Orders have been placed at the manufacturer in Switzerland. ETA is approximately the beginning of January. If all goes well it might even be around Christmas. We'll keep you posted accordingly! First batch will be: - white (ivory) background with black font - black background with white font (for the diver etc.) We're getting there!
