Specs: Silix case 6538 Athaya Brevet crown and tube Swiss 2836 movement Tiger concept second hand Clarks vintage Tudor hands set Helenarou 6538 dial Sternkreuz ST19 Rivet bracelet Nato RAF $ Fat Springbars Done thus far: case tapped to accept Athaya crown and tube, lug holes drilled to accept fat spring bars, lugs hand chamfered, plexy trimmed. pending to do: Relume 3 hands and dial to match, modify bezel shape to slim and change profile, age the insert install Athayas pearl with matching lume, remove engravings and engrave with better fonts, make a true gilt 4 liner solid gold dial. That's an other special one made for a tue afficionado of unique pieces... Case started as a cartel 5513. From an old batch: lots of oddities in the details but after considering what could be done out of it the 6541 appeared to be a smart choice. The case was slimmed down, and more difficult: it was modified on the inside to accept the gen specs milgauss dial much larger than a sub dial. Bezel was crafted from a cartel 1655, and case back too. It was was shaved low done, almost flat. What can't be seen here is the movement retaining ring. The 2824 it held into a custom made pill box style brass ring clipped onto the movement. pretty much like the genuine. So the mount is very tidy, and the movement well protected inside. I will post some pics of the making afterwards...

Dial is from helenerou and designed by manodeoro, that is the final aging I don't want to make it look too trashed. As you can see from these pics was the before factory fresh, and then the gen dial reference.
