  1. Why not a couple of shots of an GMT in here also

  2. Que and Sogeha you guys are 100% correct. Our hobby is small enough and last years hit made us smaller. A lot of people never came back. I am worried what will happen now because this was an attack on its members. We need too stick together and continue our friendships and brotherhood.

  3. Watchuseek is the only forum that I found had the biggest group of morons of the same league stamped out by the same mould. With the exception of a few good guys, you were never short of an idiot making a monkey out of a good post. I was never banned, but I banned myself back in 2006. Hopefully most of those morons have fallen off the tree, but it looks like some have graduated to a higher position of Moron with a capital "m". welcome on board!!!! This place is my second home as we are in the company of intelligent, friendly and compassionate people!!!! Modders and others here have skills that would make a great article on National geographic or on "Ripleys believe it or not" SEASONS GREETINGS to ALL!!

  6. @Sogehakindly said I can start a RWI thread here. I have no news for any of our exiles but I will let you know what I hear if and when I hear it. To all my friends enjoy the time in exile, from what I see there is a lot to read on here so happy days Patrick

  7. No! Patrick is sound and the four forums form a complex and interwoven web. Our friendships run across the boards and sometimes to brothers who are not active on any board. Watches are what bring us here, but I really don’t think it is just watches than make us log in every day. We are a community and only we can define what that community is and what it means to us.

  11. Every town has a few dodgy hangouts and strange folk, WUS is no different. You have to find the right hang out! Like@sogeha says... some of the best folk on the boards hang their hats over at BSHT. You won't find a better band of brothers... Its much like this place really[emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  13. The case is good yes. But the date font definitely isn’t! All the Patek Nautilus reps are flawed one way or another and it’s a matter of what the prospect owner can live with and what he cannot. I do agree that the PF version is good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I would say JF as well if you want to stick stock. If you want to make it the best possible YMII, your best bet would be to buy both and combine the best parts of each and make a killer YMII.

  23. Indeed guys, you are all very welcome here. Our hobby is small enough, we don’t benefit by constantly sparing with each other. All the fora are different which is good for the hobby as a whole, many of us are members on more than one and most of us have a clear home forum. Regardless of that we are all part of the Brotherhood and family sticks together in adversity. Welcome guys, And if you are a Mod on RWI, post that you are in this thread, No need to keep your status hidden here.

  25. The 7206 is one of my passions. For best results buy the Yuki. You need to thin it down a tad as it is thicker than the gen. The ends are ugy and sharp but easily reshaped to follow the lugs. You might also want to lightly sand down the tips to fit after following the contours of the lugs. But for the best Coronet go gen. You will pick up one for around €150-€200 or the entire clasp for $350-$450. That solves the coronet problem which is just off on the Yuki although I read somewhere that they had improved but i have not seen a new one. And do not forget to flatten the spiky rivets.

  35. So spoke to Chris. If we can arrange a gen case, for him to scan and take all the measurements, he can produce these cases using a cnc machine. The case will not be damaged and obviously returned to the owner Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk

  36. I say we hire Chris from C&W and have him 3D scan the cases and machine them using his cnc machines Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk

  37. Automatico makes a very good point. As far as I am aware he is correct about vintage Rolex patents. So the way around is to look at having a genuine case scanned and CNC copied without engraving in a small batch. So far so legal. Then once the case is sold to a member, that member could have it engraved. If it is not for sale or profit and for one's own use, one can copy anything, trademark or not. Then the only legal problem is if and when an individual wants to sell a piece, but that is no different from the current situation.
