Hey fella ! Inspired by a few builds I’ve seen last week that were amazing ! It’s driven me to finish my 5517. Here is the 1520 rolex movement with a custom dial on a singer plate. The hands are two different sets mixed and aged, but something has me not happy with them yet. The seconds seems to look exactly like the Gen but I feel the proportions are off. As wel the hour hand feels a little large.. maybe I’m too picky, what do you think ? My my case is just being shipped back from engraving and my phong insert and Gen 702 crown any day now from eBay. I hope to have her done next week. Then the anal process of aging it lol.

Just wanted to share some pictures of my vintage 3646; i am in love with this Watch I spent a few hours working on the case, the dial and the hands to give it the look she could have for a 70 years old Watch; not sure if it's correct but i couldn't be happier with the result ! Please forgive this awful strap; i should get my bosphorus strap soon This one ........ A gen 3646 " FLOTMAS "..... And my Watch now !

A, you are speaking my language precisely in your opening post, we are of a like mind. I do respond to all PMs but my answers have become shorter and less elaborate unfortunately. There are long time lurkers who I regularly speak to who never post. There are the one hit wonders who simply want info and treat us like some sort of customer service rep.
