Now that is "un grand opera d'arte"! That combines both features which I saw in two separate genuine submariner s that sold for phenomenal prices! Imagine finding a genuine like this??!! On the other hand who cares about the genuine when something like this is close to unique and perhaps has had more work and attention than the genuine for one tenth of the price. It is the same tiramisu made from the same ingredients but by different chefs from the same cooking school! Thank you for sharing this photo! Enjoy in buona salute!!

Just like maybe many of you, I'm was already in an early stage started collecting watches. This went on and off sometimes with a number of years that I have not even looked at them. The result was often that the watches also quickly disappeared from the scene and other interests got the upper hand. Now years later I noticed that the watch virus began to itch. Fortunately, there is now internet and that used to be different in the old days😁 and now the search for watches was a lot easier. I then came also for the first time in contact with a Dutch forum and later also international fora. Here I got the first impressions in the rep scene and saw what a beautiful watches members had. Not long after that I bought my first rep. I just can't remember wich one that was😬 Anyhow, I was completely "hooked". Over the past few years I bought, sold and even exchanged watches. Then came the moment the watch boxes were pretty full and that I realized that not every watch the appreciation got what it deserved, so I decided to sell my watches and spent the money to buy high end reps . I was pretty impressed by the watches built by Kilowattore, Tripdog, BabaNJ etc. Many of you have probably already heard and possibly seen all of their work . Now that I decided to upgrade to high end reps I could fit my collection in a single box😁 However, I began to wonder how I could justify it for myself to spend several hundreds of dollars on high end watches, while still being Replica's (no offense). I then took a completely different path in terms of watches and have sold almost all of my watches again and started a new search. Only this time for gen watches. Also there is a world of choices, but some with a very sturdy price tag. It had to remain credible for me though, so I created for myself a maximum budget to keep it somewhat affordable🤔 After a long search I came across the Junghans and Glycine brand. Junghans is a brand which is especially known to the older members and a little forgotten. Too bad because they make really good and reliable watches in Germany. Glycine is Swiss watch company, but I had not yet heard of it. Glycine is a watch manufacturer which was founded in 1914, and is based in Bienne, Switzerland. The brand is famous for its Airman-line, a collection of GMT watches with 24-hour indication which debuted in 1953. This was primarily a benefit of both military and commercial pilots. The Airman was worn during the Vietnam war by many pilots of the United States air force. The Junghans factory was founded in 1861. The factory was initially specialized in the production of individual watch parts, but it soon became the recognized craftsmanship and produced complete watches . In 1866, Junghans produced there first watch The logo with the 8-pointed star was first registered in 1890 and is still the Junghans trademark. Recently, Junghans is saved by an investor who wanted to keep the brand alive. The investor has made sure that the factory can remain open and that beautiful new Junghans watches can be produced with style and quality that are very important for Junghans. The Meister series is by Junghans again revived and in my opinion they have done that really well . It is a nod to the past of fast cars and cockpit instruments. A similar story for my self , loved watches bought low end gens then found this place bought reps learned a lot started buying better gens but not like a new Rolex why would I had a ton of them in rep form. So now once in while I buy a rep and mostly buy gens and am at the point I really can not even remember exactly what I have anymore. I give them away to mates and forget , misplace them around the house and in some cases put them away safely and forget where........................ It is rather exciting when they pop up after a 5-6 month visit to another dimension that I am sure excises in my house and it's like getting a new watch to wear! I unfortunately never sold everything off like you so it is costly. I also have the quartz graveyard shelf where they go when the batteries die one day I will get around to powering them up. (said that last year also) No hurry there are others............. PS like all your watch choices sharp straps also!

Yea I’m going to only make some subtle aging to the whole watch, nothing serious. I think it’s good enough to not be masked by excessive wear that you will rarely see in the genuine watches.

Now that is poetry, art and science all in the one package!! I never knew why rolex never issued a blue dial and insert for their submariner lines apart from the two tones and the yellow gold version! A white gold version in blue also was never released until the ceramic model which looks bulky & unattractive to me. A 16619 model would have been a treat especially when gold prices were a lot more affordable & reasonable. My first replica was a blue dial stainless steel with the blue anodised bezel. It got far more attention and comments than my genuine rolex ever did! Enjoy to good health!

Don’t think you need to do much at all to the watch, just a little insert ageing. Most gens still in existence don’t look like they‘ve seen much action. Less is more [emoji106]

I do not know how to say it, but....... . I like it!!! somehow that touch of blue just highlights it? That is just my opinion and I may be in the minority here. If it were a little more faded being more Cielo celeste, then it is very attractive!! On two occasions I have seen two vintage submariners where one had a tropical dial which had turned blue and it was awesome!! another time I saw one with a faded insert almost bright celeste and it was real eye candy!

I hear ya, but this time of year winter's getting a little old. We've had plenty of it, and there's still a couple more months to go.
