  1. Well, the new year celebration has already started in some parts of the world and I would like to take a minute to wish all the members here at RWG a happy new year from me and the entire RWG crew. I've been swamped with work these last couple of months and have not had the same amount of time to spend on the forum as I used to have. Christmas has also been busy, so I know there are some PM's and e-mails that have gone by without a reply. They will be replied to a couple of days into the new year ;)

Also, the new year will bring some exiting changes to RWG. The first thing we'll do after new years eve is to launch a RWG Raffle. With the help of all the dealers we hope that we will be able to have at least one monthly raffle here at RWG, maybe more. Our aim is to be able to offer all of our supporting members a free Supporter raffle, where all the supporters get a free raffle ticket + a paid raffle where all members can buy tickets. The proceeds will be used to keep RWG online and alive ;)

We will also be adding some new "apprentice" dealers to the forum, so stay tuned for news about new dealers who want to break their way into the market.

Finally, we will be taking RWG offline for a day or two to upgrade the forum software. We will also be doing some redecoration and other changes to the forum. The redecoration is needed to optimize the forum, so that it loads faster for all. We will also be adding some new sections to the forum and there will be some changes to the RWG team. Hopefully we will also be able to make it easier for the members to upgrade their memberships. We need more supporters!!!

All of this will be announced with posts in the general discussion area.

But for now, enjoy new years eve with your friends and family, wherever you are in the world. Also a big thank you to you for being a member of RWG and making this place the absolutely best replica forum online.

  2. I have something I'll be quite happy to donate to the cause from my vacation to Spain. A transparent plastic Submariner-like watch. 100% Quartz, gen plastic crystal, and utterly [censored] pearl

Now where are one of those "cut-out watches" when you need one....

    Crazysaleman!!!! WHERE ARE YOU??? :)

  3. Welcome to the RWG x-mas skin :) Only 21 days left, so I figured it was about time to bring out the holiday decorations :)

Some of the regular services are missing (llike the shoutbox, etc) but most of them will be available in this skin within a day or two.

Hope you all enjoy our christmas skin :)

PS For those of you who do not handle design changes as well as others, the other skins are still available if you use the drop-down skin selector at the forums bottom right :D

  4. Admin, have you ever retained a record of how may registrations in total you had there?

I know there has been some house cleaning over the years, but it would be interesting to know how many have passed through the doors.

    Offshore

If no members had been deleted in these 5 years, we would have passed 20.000 members at TRC

  5. I think a small round of gratulations to TRC (The Replica Collector - http://www.replicacollector.com ) is in order. TRC has been online for 5 years today. It is without a doubt the oldest and longest "living" replica forum online. This successor to RWCC was the first large and popular replica forum online and pretty much all the forums aroung have sprung up because of this forum. Even though the activity there is very low these days, there are TONS of usefull information about replicas there. Definitively worth a look.

Man, how the years go by....
