  1. It's like a recurring rock dream I have tho'; I'm at the Albert Hall in 1969 and Pagey invites me up on stage to jam a tune I penned that he and Robert are all on about, Kashmir (I'm from the future you see), then the roadie hands me my axe:

Similar dream Dems.....Pete and I - Leeds University. Pulsating bass by John. Machine gun drums by Moonie. Cha-ching! By Pete.......I approach the mike........."Happy Jock wasn't old but he was a man......"

    Roger........"F*ck off!"

......one burst bubble later! Never mind eh!

  2. Jeez......you made it a tough one this time Bob, however I found advice from a Norris as well. Prof. J.P. Norris to be precise:-

"Let me describe in a little more detail my interest in coagulation. In diverse contexts one is led to consider a large system of particles (bubbles, droplets, stars, molecules...) which, over time, stick together to form larger particles. This can be modelled as a Markov random process. The challenge is to discover the possible sorts of behaviour of these systems: is there a non-random approximation giving the evolving concentrations of particles of various masses, do most of the particles eventually (or instantaneously) stick together, do spatial fluctuations matter, does the mass distribution, suitably renormalised, converge in long time? These are questions of interest to scientists in many fields but a rigorous mathematical theory has only partly emerged. Techniques relevant to the analysis of these processes are martingales, weak convergence, coupling of processes and plenty of careful estimates."

    Okay who's next?

  3. lol a Z3 what a chick car. Only a Miata MX5 could have been worse, but yeah, the DB5 is, was, and always will be...........'it'.

Dems - the wife has a Z3 and on occasions when I have had to use it and spied doing so by my mates, they tell me it makes me look like a gay hairdresser!

    Bah!

(Not that I've got anything against gay hairdressers!)

  4. I have a lovely pacific blue XK8 (can't post pictures from work) which I've had for almost a year and it's the best car I've ever owned. Sure it's a bit gutsy on the fuel (4L engine) but hey it only does about 8 miles per day.

The only minor issue I may have at the moment is that I may have to replace the ABS cable sensors as the warning light intermittently comes on - wear and tear imo.

Go for it - a Jag is more than just a car, it's a statement about quality and performance. I always get a real good feeling behind the wheel of mine. (especially at 160 mph :D)

    Enjoy.

  5. Tell her to read, read, read.........Tell her not to ask any stoopid noob questions like "who has the best sub?"................Tell her to pick her dealer first then pick her watch................and finally............make sure she has the link to Toadtorrent's guide. :D

............and if she's really smart she'll upgrade to "Supporter" right away! :D
