Cool, thanks for the replies, Glad to hear that there is a Swiss option out there for when ETA is no longer an option. Still the Date Wheel issue bugs me. But something for me to take up with the dealer. Thanks again.

It was a Seadweller, advertised with ETA movement. I wont name the dealer just yet as i have asked to have the watch changed over. I cant live with the date font so out of alignment. Just thought id mention it as this may be the way the rep movements will go as the True ETA's get scarce.

Has anyone ordered a ETA rep and found that it has a Stelita ETA knockoff movement inside? The watch was advertsed with a swiss ETA inside. I opened the watch up as the Date alignment was horrible, when i noticed that i couldnt see the ETA logo on the mevement. Thanks

Bought mine when it first came out, not from the group buy. Running fine so far. The second hand is a little jerly and the rotor is noisy. But it is by far and away the watch i get the most comments on. I dont keep it on the winder and only really wear it when i am going out. The PR is not that great.

Wow, the Dial aside, it has the correct hand stack and pretty accurate GMT Hand.

I bought one maybe 2 years ago. Still going OK. The only thing was the transformer blew so i had to replace it. But apart from that no problems so far.

I dont know if its related, but i just got notification from my bank that my Credit Card had been identified as a target for fraud. "Visa Fraud Control has recieved an alert reguarding a possible compromise of my card details overseas. Which may lead to unauthorised activities being conducted on your card in the furure." They want to replace my card with a new one in 7 days, great timing as i leave for Canada in seven days and i only have one credit card.

Thanks heaps Phoband. That makes much more sense, i was just trying to push the pin through. I didnt realise that it was 2 pieces in there a pin and a sleve. Thanks.

Are you sure that they are pins and thet they can be removed? I cannot for the life of me get them out!

Thanks guys, i just wanted to make sure that they were pins and not screws before i started putting more pressure on the link removal tool. Ill have another go tonight and let you know how it goes. Thaks again.

Had anyone been able to resize the band on a J12 Ceramic band? I got a white one off Joshua for my wife for our anniversary and i dont know if there is a special trick to sizing the band. I have a tool, but i dont want to put too much pressure on the pins as im not sure if they just push out or they are screwed in. Anyone who has bought one of these if they could let me know it would be a big help. Thanks.

I got caught a little while ago with "Another" watch and how much was i spending on watches, but i had received our credit card statement the day before, and one of here Hair / Salon visits was on there! I just replied that "less than one of your trips to the hairdresser! and you do that every 4 weeks. It is amazing how much a color and a cut costs for women. She let it go at that :thumbsupsmileyanim: Finally a win for me. Only now ill get shot for telling everyone she colors here hair. :whistling:

Seems like there are now a few people that are interested in this watch now that it is no longer available. Maybe you should see if there is any interest in a group buy? If you get enough people together, they may just make another batch. If you do, put me down for a white one.

Ask joshua about his Rose Gold VC Chronographe. A friend of mine just got one, and i have to say, it is one of the most stunning watches i have ever seen. I was so impressed with it that I ordered one the next day. I wil do a review and post pics when i recieve it.

My Vote is for the Patek 24 from River! One of the best looking and most accurate reps out there.

A common problem with all of the Bond Seamasters is the crown has the feeling that it is about to fall off. I have had mine for about 8 - 10 months and no problem yet! I leave it on the watch winder when i dont wear it so that i dont have to use the crown too often!
