General watch brand info......
I get the opportunity to post this here as part of a question (and answer) raised from a RWI member.
CUERVO Y SOBRINOS
Very elegant and excvlusive watches.
We dont see many around. These babies are hard to find. I am not sure about their prices but I think they are ranging from 2500+ to 5000 USD.
Some watch experts they classify them as the alternative to Franck Muller.
Enjoy......

I see he is listed in the dealers section here on the forum.
Is he our gateway to the wonderful reps in Japan?
Thank You
Myself
........ well trying to do that right now through Ken.
It takes time and no PP.
-
who is that quartz MM from?
From Watchstation (Peter ........or ex Jackie Chan ???)
-
No offense AmK, I know you like your Mille but the reps of this model are way off from the gen. How can hard can it be to make it a bit closer. Closer, I mean almost perfect
I agree. It has many flaws (subs, bezel, etc.. ).
But its still nice for a summer watch (at the same price as a cheap swatch) ... and since that posiblly never we will see a decent Mille Miglia rep, I decided to buy it.
I personally have abandoned the "search" of the perfect rep since last year.

seen a lot of crappy Pams....a lot of fantasy one...but all of them had at least...yellow or green numbers and hands...look at this one...made for Drakula...on the caseback it has got engraved his signature...
.... a devils watch Stay far.

Aha.... a true GMT Chopard Mile Migllia .... I wish !!! ... but I really doubt they will ever make any.
This is the closer you can get on a rep:

... and this is what I got today:

Runs great.

As they say, classic never dies.

Very nice comparison.

Looks like the 40 mm.

@ Captain (TTK): If you ever get the "EBEL Tarawa" as per our pics ,...... I will be all over it.
-
Arghhhhh...... the RED THIN LINE again.
How come nobody noticed this so obvious flaw .......
-
Nice trick.
Though this brings a question in to my mind.
Obviously with this trick the watch on the pic looks much better.
If the dealers / manufacturers use the same trick for advertising / selling the watch , then the question is how "bright" (or with how much glare) the watch looks on your wrist under a naked eye???
If (naked eye) it looks like the pic with the glared removed , then great and everythinng is OK.
But If it doesnt and it does look close to the one with the glare on , then there is a problem.
You a see a pic of the watch, you say great watch , you order it and then you get a watch with a crystal similar to a "mirror". That kills the entire "look" of the watch.
I personally believe that dealers should post pics that represent the watch as it appers under a naked eye. They should not manipulated them to make them look better than the actual watch you receive.
BTW: It happened to me twice in the past.
@ Category5: Of course my above comments have nothing to do with you and yes .... I believe that your trick is very good and very usefull to all of us.
Thanks

PR PAMs with asian 21J (as per Joshua's link) are at 188 USD
- Add 30 USD for shipping
- Add another 40 to 50 USD (for the shake of being a new model just coming out).
That sums up 258 - 268 USD. So I guess EL's price is correct.
On the other hand it is clear that the movement is not a 7750.
... and btw , maybe I am having optical illusions .... but I see a gap (white to black square contrast) around the date window.
I can see it on the pics posted from members and I can see it on Joshua's std PR PAM (again asian 21J).
Who knows .... maybe on real size, this gap (if any) is invisible.

River is one of the best dealers ..... but dont know what's happening lately to him and he doesnt come with to much variety and new goods.
-
Destro = Diestro = Left handed (watches made for left handed persons - have crown on the inside if on right wrist and on the outside if on left wrist)

Bravo , that's one of the best threads seen during the last months or even year.
