I've just recieved my PAM fidddy which I've been looking forward to for ages.

After only 2 hours it wont work any more. It stopped and I can't wind the crown and more, it moves for like a millimeter then i feel some resistance which pushes it back.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, what was the cure?

What a thread .... it took me some time to find out if the discussion was about the dials , the numbers or some kind of smoking stuff.

Any way , just a question guys ... and I am not a IWC expert and I didnt examined the IWC portug Rep under a magnifying glass.

The first think that it striked me was the color of the dial.

The gen has a clean white dial color , where the rep it looks like it has a "silvery with white snow flakes" (????!!!!) color.

Am I wrong ????

If am I wright, to me this is the biggest fault.

If I remember well , we have seen many reps of these (and with the chronos too) about a year ago. Not so sure but I think Joshua , Andy , River and maybe TTK had some of these.

Have'nt seen though these reps around for some time.

You were extremely lucky! Base does not enjoy a good reputation here, he has been linked to a number of dud deals and scams.

Let's just say you took a long shot, and hit the target.

But based on his previous performances, I would be very sceptical of anyone having as much luck a 2nd time around.

Bold and thicker numbers for gen bezel.

So far only EL and Andy have some good ones.

EL's is better but wrong date fond.

Andy's has good date fond but has silver (sort of gun color) rings around the dot marks.

.... rep makers dont want to make this damn thing right.

On the contrary there is a proliferation of ORIS reps 'out there'...most with poor deployants...but seldom are they popular enough to see them travel down the 'food chain'

Eddie and Joshua are selling the same.

You dont need to be shamed for not knowing how to fix your reps.

95%+ of the members here are on the same situation as you ....... and that's normal.
