  1. So the infamous Mr Scott Hawkins is back ????? A thief by all means.

    Thanks for informing us Admin.

BTW: Even though not at the caliber of S.Hawkins, another "glorious scammer" is re-appearing here and then in various replica watch boards.

His name: Mr Bryan Pannel (aka Base). Watch out.

  2. Fast forward 3 years... 30+ reps, over 100 gens in the collection..... worst still, in excess of 1000 "under repair".. "ready for sale" ( mainly quartz) although about 200 mechanicals are in the Work in Progress bins...

    :Jumpy:

I am speechless. You have beaten Kasi in the number of watches owned.

    :thumbsupsmileyanim: You are atrue watch-maniac.

  3. I never thought that the CHN rep makers will stop produce PAMs.

I only feel some how that the PAMS are now getting in to a short of RLX and OMEXA production rythms. Here and there you get a new model. Then a lot of different versions to improve it etc.....

During the last 18 months we had almost a new PAM model every 2 months ..... now it has been slow down.

As Logan says, they have almost produced every possible PAM model by now, so to a degree is rather logical to see a slower rythm of production.

To me (... a bit repetitive here...) it looks like that the CHN rep makers are paying more attention now to different high-end brands .... which I think is good.

  4. Maybe I am wrong (... I wish I am wrong) but some how I have the impression that the CHN rep makers are either slowing down with the PAMs or are done with this brand.

Its quite some time now that they are not come up with new models (eg: 108, 122, 156 etc...).

All we see from PAMs are some improvements on existing models (which of course is not bad at all).

On the other hand we see new brands and models poping up (IWC, AP, Cartier, PT was mentioning Chopard, etc...) which of course is good and adds variety to (sometimes) monotony of the PAMs.

(btw , what you guys you gonna do with all these pam straps  , cant fit any other watch)

Any way , maybe our dealers can bring us some more light in to that posibility (end of the PAMmania era ??? )

    ..... just a thought I wanted to share. :)

  5. :D

My definition of the "size" of a watch collection (incl both gen and reps).

    Small: 1 to 5 watches

    Medium: 6 to 10 watches

    Large: 11 to 20 watches

Very large: 21 to 30 watches

    Huge: 31 and above watches

... and yes size matters :yu:

BTW: the only person that I know of having a huge coollection of watches was/is: Kasi (.... may the old ones here do remeber kasi)

  6. A great classic ...... which we will never see a decent rep (... we have seen decent reps of other brand's with cheaper genuines ... so dont really understand the biz strategies of the chinese rep makers :g: )

Any way , I wont cry more :( ..... here it goes the real deal.

    TAG HEUER AUTAVIA (re-issue)

    -------------------------------------

A re-issue of the classic Heuer chronographs from the early 1960’s. It is in a 48mm (including the lugs) x 43.2mm x 14.3mm SS screw back case, water resistant to 50 meters.

This updated classic has a signed non-screw down crown at nine, pushers at two and four, and a sapphire crystal. The silver dial has baton markers, black sub registers, and quickset date at six. There is a tachymeter scale on the fixed black bezel. This watch is on a matching signed SS bracelet with push button deployant clasp, long enough for an eight inch wrist.

With ETA 2892-2 (with module Dubois-Depraz 2022) automatic movement maintains accurate time to a tolerance of four seconds per day.

(.... btw , the above text is not mine)

Price can vary from $2500 to $3500.

    Pics of genuine:

  7. post-2899-1162410527_thumb.jpgHELLO TO EVERYONE

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANY DEALER HAS GOT THIS STUNNING WATCH?AFTER A LOT OF RECEARCH I HAVEN'T FIND IT IN ANY DEALER SHOP.... :(

Kalimera Thanos and welcome on board.

    No such a rep exist.

BTW: Writting in CAPITAL LETTERS .... in board culture (any board, not only this one) , means shouting.

  8. Nice one Andreas.

Tell me... what do the three pushers do? Move the GMT hand and...?

    Thank you By-Tor.

Pusher at 2 moves the GMT hand

Pusher at 4 moves the date hand (date wheel at 6)

Pusher at 8 ... well, you can push it as many times as you like. It doesn't do anything (changes GMT hand in a genuine).

  9. Today .... well today is the day for my new toy.

    TAG LINK GMT

    White dial

42 mm - ETA modified movement

    Sporty and classy too.

BTW: Gen is only made in black but I decided to go for a white dial in order to reduce the "mirror" effect from the lack of the AR coating.

    Edited: 02/Nov/2006:

I want to correct a small mistake that I did (dont want this mistake to mislead others if they ever wish to buy this watch).

The movement is not an ETA modified (....don't know what I was thinking  )

Is an Asian 21J modified (... and so far works great).

    Thanks and sorry.

  10. Don't know if I can help much on this thread but here is what I know about the RX GMT II 50th Anniversary

    1) Bezel is "ceramic" and always black

    2) The watch has only be produced on two tone yellow gold

    3) Bezel (always) has gold numbers

    4) Two faces of dial:

----> A: black with green GMT hand and green date

----> B: green with gold GMT hand and balcak date.

Pls correct me if I am wrong.

I am attaching some pics of gen (from Basel 2005)
