My wife made an observation the other day- That observation being that I spend more time looking at people's wrists than anything else just to see what watches people are wearing. Now... This is, in my opinion, quite harmless and better than getting busted for checking out some other girl's 'assets' per se, but I realized that my wrist staring must be pretty apparent if she's mentioning it.
What I'm wondering is... Is this common amongst all of us watch nerds?
Believe me Randy.... you are not alone on this

.... the invisible watch.

Ok Kev , pls let us know.

Hey AMK,
They cost these days anywhere from $7500 in poor shape to $11000 in mint shape with box and papers.
The replica is nothing like the gen. First off, the dial markers and hands are white gold trimmed on the gen, not black. Also it has a "Rail dial", which is rare in that it's spaced differently than most Rolexes:
SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER
OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED
Those bold C's are supposed to line up. That's usually how you can identify a genuine dial.
There are also some slight differences in the bezel font between the genuine Cream Explorer and the moden Explorer. And the "French vanilla"-esque patina is just the most beautiful thing you've ever seen.
Thanks Chronomat.
I've asked the price of the gen cream dial cause this is consider as a collectors item .... since it was a faulty color production. It meant to be a white dial but some of the batches came out cream.
The cream dial ... if can be found .... usually costs 3 times as much compared to the white.

Gran Turismo is OUT ????
Well ... the way this it looks .... they better put it back IN.
Can really tell for sure that this is the same watch that Angus has showed us ....since what we saw from PT was a prototype ...... but what now Andy and Jos have on their sites .... has still a long way to go and many things to correct.
If this comes out to be the same watch that Angus was taking about it ..... I am fully disappointed.
Ignoring the fact that is using a CHN 21J mov ... and we were expecting a 7750 or a copy of an ETA VALGRANGE (
) ....both models/dials have many faults.
- Both dials: Date color is wrong. Should be black in both dials.
- Both dials: Crown not quite there yet.
- Both dials: The hour markers not quite there yet.
- Both dials: Sec hand with red arrow should be a bit longer (Ok I am a bit picky ... this is not that bad)
- Black dial: Deep blue color rather than black.
Compare it to the strap and inner outline of the date wheel)
- Black Dial: Numbers printed on the inner bezel and all the text inside the dial are grey color rather than white.
- White dial: There is no black outline around the hour markers nor around the 12 and 6 indicators.
- White dial: Color hands (all three) is wrong. On the rep are silver on the gen are black.
So .... if that is the same watch that Angus was talking about .
... I will wait for the 20th release version to come out first.

Nice Collection.
@ chronomat123:
Pls excuse my indiscretion , ... but how much did you paid for the gen Cream EXP II ???
Chronomat, where did you get your cream white Exp II please?@ Rek: Andy has the cream replica.

Can you imagine this happening during the Olympics ???
-
As Borat says ..... NICE
-
Not many people are willing to wear a 47 mm watch.
-
Lets imagine that one day we wake up and every dealer disapears!!!What do you think will be our reaction when we realized that we are left with only the reps that we have allready order???
Many wives / girlfriends will be extremely happy if that happens

@ r11co and Richard Tracy:
Come on - give it a break guys.
Both you have made some good arguments defending your positions ... and both you have developed this topic in to some kind of a personal ...... lets call it "dialectic confrontation".
A very civilized way but...... give it a rest now.
-
Didn't know that the HB BB was produced on 41 mm. !!
-
@ Richard T:
Dont let it get you down.
This community is not different than the rest (and real) world.
So ... cheer up and just think that you have started an excellent initiative.
Q: Are we making the numbers ????

This is because of the growing economic influences that are beginning to affect these countries that previously turned a blind eye towards the counterfeit industry."

Hmmm , ..... there is a point here you make ...... if they can earn they same money legally why doit illegaly ??? ..... though I dont believe that replicas will slow down during the next 5 to 8 years at least.

Speaking of limited editions guys - is there a 7753 in my future anytime soon?
Would like to see it on the "Big Black" version.

Hello,..
I apologize to you, and everyone affected, ..for not notifying you first,..
but I can only handle so much of the work,..and believe it fair that everyone
work their own submissions into the guidelines.... also I did post my concerns
in many polls way ahead of time.
Not to mention that the deadline is about here,.. which forced me to make cuts
to all incomlete submissions that were holding key spots in the poll, as I had to
give the other hopefuls which did fit the mold, time to make their last push.
Regarding your submissions,..
It was my belief that the Ebel has an in-house movement, so the 7753, if we can subsitute
would also have to be modded,... If, however I am wrong, and it will do,.. then,
of course, I will push for the addition of a 7753,... though I can't promise the outcome...
and also dread that it may open a whole can of worms,...with other members wishing
they had the chance to offer 7753 run watches as well..
But you, will have to do the homework to find out the definite answer..and you only have
a few days,.
As far as the Iwc's yes I am attempting to have them counted as 'One' or at least 1.5...
as I also believe that they can interchange parts.
I will try,.. but again, I can only hope for the best.
As for the Tag,... yes the price is lower, but we do have examples of Tag replicas that
are very popular, so I may be able to get Jay to allow them,...
Besides,.. I was under the impression that Doc found models that sell for about 3k...
Lastly, Jay's top price for this first project is $6,000.
For the Next Project it's $10,000,...
Good luck,.. and remember this is only our first,... if you don't make it this time, you
will be ahead of the curve in the next project... just remember,.. it's a sports watch,..
..$10,000 max...
OK .... to me at least sounds fair.
