SAP consultants tend to wear no watch as billing over 8 hours goes against 150%
That's why clients outsource SAP to India
-
oops guess i shd have mentioned "technology consultant".
You just joined right ???
Never being a consultant before, right ???
Listen to me.
IT consultants from JR to Sr Consultant should wear:
- Smart watches
- Less than 1000 USD price of the real equivalent
- No bling or fancy watches
- no quartz watches
IT consultants from Mgr to Principal / Director and Partner level should wear:
- Smart watches
- Not Less than 2500 USD price of the real equivalent
- No bling or fancy watches
- no quartz watches
Antything else will either look fake (very bad if you are a consultant) or too expensive .... and therefore would tightdly linked and related to the seniority and expertise of the person.
If and when I see an IT Consultant (jr to sr level) with a 5000 USD PAM or equivalent I can only think these:
-Daddys rich boy (his/her salary cannot pay that watch)
-Fake watch (bad start)
-These guys they charge extremely high tarrifes and they add no value (due to less seniority). (better look somewhere else for IT advise).
On the above you have to add the environment too.
Is not the same working for Acc or ATK or EDS or ATOS or IBM Services. etc.... each one is diferrent.

I can undestand anger.
I appreciate that health is first.
I neither understand nor appreciate insulting.

• Being the honest guy that I am and having to tell someone who's just complimented me on my watch or asked, "is that a Panerai?" by responding "it's actually a replica – but a really good replica!" I've finally realized that fake is still fake.
The bigest true of all

Hi dear all, I understand the IWC Slevin Aquatimer chrono was launched few months back (for both the rubber strap version as well as the stainless steel bracelet version). But it seems there aren't much feedback on these watches compared to the Cousteau Divers 2006/2007. I did read that the Cousteau Divers for the movements, the rotor letterings are actually stickers and may fall off any time whereas for the Slevin Aquatimers, the letterings are actually engraved onto the rotors, is that true? And the Slevin Aquatimers are 42mm whereas the Cousteau Divers are 44mm so could it be the smaller size of the Aquatimers so they are not so popular? Or are they not that well made and doesn't feel and looks like their genuine counterparts? And feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
.... some how I am sharing the same feeling and impression.
I have spoted this watch as my next purchase ... and it seems that there is hardly any input to this.
It seems that only UB/ has this watch ..... whom of cource we thank for his

The movement isn't working properly, the minute register does not function on the chrono. The hands are beautiful, but the chrono second hand bumps the minute hand at around 9 o'clock and stops it. A light jolt gets it moving around again, the standard quality control issues with hand fitting unsurprisingly strike again. It's running a quite a bit slow, too. 4 minutes a day. So, the asian 21k 7750 lives up to it's reputation.
With all these issues I would have send it back.
BTW, I was not aware that they were doing them

Looks very nice

Just got my IWC 3717.
I dont want to strat describing how beautiful this watch is ... everybody knows that.
Any way ... with reps you never know.
Mine came with the "fat lines" at 3 and 9 crooked.
From pics posted here from other members, I can see that their 3717 are ok.
Before sending it back to the dealer.... will like to ask if any other members

I went over TRC (even though I know its existence for years) after the last update in the RWG. One of the first sections I visited was that of rizshop, just to get a idea if there are any EU-based dealers I didn't know of. I didn't investigate it too much, having read about the closed community of TRC, I thought I would be safe buying from this guy. I am not blaming them since there was already a 'buy at your own risk' warning in his section. I am just saying that if this was in RWG (or RWI) I wouldn't have sent any WU to an untested dealer, plus I would have noticed him from day one. Well, I sent him the equivalent of 300+USD via WU for an Admiral's Cup. It is 9 days that he has stopped responding to my emails. Strange thing is that I was traveling to Sweden for some business and we were supposed to even get together for a beer. I had a couple of business dinners, so I didn't manage to email him while there. In the mean time, the watch was supposed to be delivered (if only I had planned for the short trip to sweden ONE day earlier, I would have asked to deliver it in person). Well, after all this time, I haven't received anything. I asked the admin over TRC to give me his contacts/details and I will try to find a way out of it.
I am very sorry to hear that George
What watch do consultants wear?

I am with you on that. I am also against IT outsourcing strategy for anything that is not puerly commodity or simple and repetitive.
To me this is what we calling "ValueShore" or
