I completely agree with By-tor, people who begin with reps in the world of watches usually love watches by what they are, no matter if they are reps or gen, you discover you apreciate watches in esence, and after that you discover you enjoy yourself in the journey of getting your holy grail rep... journey that never finishes...we are always in the way, but it is this way and the people I meet in what I really enjoy, needed almost five years and a lot of watches to discover

Survivor for the weekend

Hi Lani Thans for your kind words That is what I thought, Survivor is a right hand watch but not at all, for me at least is a wery comfortable watch on my left hand, no problems with pushers

Some pics of my Survivor recently arrived from King Of course yu can think it isn´t your cup of tea but on the hand, consstrucction, material quality and overall sensation made me feel really happy of ordering it The big issue concerned me was pusher protectors, I asked several time to King before ordering and she convinced me they wuld work, and really they do, tight with no crappy feeling. It is said it is the same mechanism that in the gen, noot sure about but probably is, it is the configuration of the protector what makes it work Caseback is really nice and well done NO lume, well to be honest a real poor lume but I can live with it nd diddn´t expect enything better. Rubber strap could probabñy be better This is not a review but my sensations with the wath, It is a radical one, you can like it or not but the piece is one of the better reps out there at the moment Thanks for viewing!!

Several days ago I opened a thread asking if selling my MBW EOD and getting a new Cartel second at 12 was a good idea As usual there were almost as answer as member answer, so I decided to go on my own and this is the result MBW EOD Cartel EOD Cartel one is on an authentic crocodrile strap custom made for my MBW by jakobs, spanish strapmaker Both are stunning pieces out of the box, Of course MBW has seconds at nine which is a big flaw and little diferences on the dial (please pay atention to the logo and date font for example) Talking about the case, bezel is different as well as rubber ring, this is thicker on the cartel one. Position of pushers is as well a little bit dferent between both of them Taken a glance to the back we discover new differents that support the Cartel one Engraving is not black on the MBW and legend is diferent as well, none of them is correct but the Cartel one is closer MBW Cartel So I finnally decided to conserve my new Cartel EOD and probably will sell the MBW. My Cartel is now on a Piragna Kevlar strap and let me say it is a killer....Anyway I must say de MBW is a classic and a overall well made piece Making in this way now I am sure I am right!!!
