  1. Do any of our trusted dealers still sell the V1 skyland? Im looking for the grey dial version with stainless band. I know the V2 is better but i have been getting a little out of hand with watch purchases and have to limit myself to only 1 more and under 200$.
  2. Keeping my fingers crossed here and hoping for the best but...has anyone ever seen or heard of a Chronoswiss opus with A750 movement? i and going back and forth with a guy on ioffer who has one for sale. Picts look GEN but not the typical studio ad shots. I requested a couple of live shot photos to be sure but i have mu doubts. This would be awesome if true as there has NEVER been any accurate chronoswiss replicas and happens to be my favorite brand. anyone have any insight? Here is a link to the listing in question http://www.ioffer.com/i/Chronoswiss-Opus-95-LNIB-Skeleton-Watch-RARE-119501687
  3. Anyone know what movement the IWCPortugese 7 Days uses? it must be some seagull variation no?
  4. As a matter of fact check with Stan (WBK time) as was the dealer who originally soured this watch for me and is an excellent dealer !
  5. Although i have never personally purchased from this seller, others on this forum have. You could also provide this picts to other dealer to see if they can source it for you. Good luck. Let me know how it goes as i may purchase another as the orginal one i had has been dismantled for parts.
  6. I work as an investigator at a large medical device company. We manufacture artificial hearts.
  7. Welcome i'm in northern California as well. Be careful this hobby is very addicting !
  8. wow now that's hot. I opted for the cheaper and less finished movement. Puts mine to shame Enjoy it
  9. Here ya go http://www.timeshops.net/A_Lange_Sohne_automatic_630.htm underneath all that plastic, the watch is actually pretty accurate and well replicated asoide from the open case back and movement. I had this version at one point and loved it. perfectly dressy. It should be about 39 - 40mm if i remember correctly.
  10. Avitt, Is this from Chris over at WWW?
  11. love the idea. i for one would purchase one!
  12. Honestly if you love the watch and would like to wear it, i suggest purchasing another case set. Swapping the movement into the new case set isnt all that difficult. Even if you find a spare chrono pusher, it may just as well fall out again. Save yourself the trouble and replace the case. Josh should be able to source one for $85
  13. Unfortunately the same thing happened to me (same watch). You may have to source another case set. I know this is a pain but Josh was able to source mine for $85 plus shipping. Good luck!
  14. Yeah the IWC was little tight. For some reason i like to wear this one tight and dead center on the wrist
  15. Thanks for the kinds words. I am far from a good photographer and the camera i use could be better but hey i tried right. .
  16. Here is my small but effective collection. Most were purchsed from Josh at perfect clones. First up is the Breitling blackbird. A georgeous watch with very effective AR coating (albeit too blue). I lovethe brushed finish with the faceted link pieces. although a little small for me it wears pretty well with casual jeans on a weekend or friday, or crisp dres shirt for weekday use. Next up is the IWC 5004 big pilot. Another nice watch i wear during the work week but fits eaqually well on the weekends. I replaed the pilots trap for a shiny croc strap picked up from the bay Next we have the Breitling Navitimer world. I purchased this from Ruby many years ago. At one point i disassembled the wach and sandblasted the case and strap. Not satisfies with the results i purcased a repacement case from Josh. Unfortunately the case set did not come with a crown so i had to to use the sandblasted one. This is the reason for the funny crown. Since then josh has graciously shipped me a replacemet crown and i am eagerly awaiting its arrival. now on tothe picts. Here we have a cheap fleamarket special of the Breitling Super Avenger blobby pearl and all. This version is not very accurate has faux chrono and horrible mineral crystal. I purcased this to gauge the size and werability of this watch as it is a huge chunk of metal. No need to buy the ultimate version if it will just look like a clock on my wrist needless to say i hardly wear it! And finally we have the Hublot Big bang full ceramic including endlinks, and titanium bezel. I am sad to say this watch although beautiful dosent ring my bell. Overall the wath is too dark and dosent have enough contrast for my taste. I do however wear it with jeans on the weekend. This watch jsut doest fit well in a business professional setting. Think crisp white shirt or suit and an all black Hublot it just dosent work. I may end up giving this to the wife. Next on my list to by is a grey dial IWC with power reserve or portugese if they ever resolve the movement issues.
  17. The crown adjustment positions on my BlackBird are kind of finiky. At times i have to pull the crown to the outer most position (time setting), and then push back to the date setting position to engage the date change.
  18. Check ioffer there are usually plenty of gucci replica shoes, and a few kenneth cole and Cole haan.
  19. Sir this is indeed the usual chinese crap no much more to say !
  20. The patek may be good for a project or parts. The selection available on ebay is limited but there seems to be more on the ufanta ioffer site
