I'd say a Baby G too. That's what I got my 2 1/2 year old nephew. He seems to like it and with it's durable build it's been taking the beating fairly well.

So then V2 is the same as V3. So then why is it even called V3?

I think bk's DSSD v3 is the same as the best(ultimate) version of the cartel's dealers.

This get's more and more confusing as the days pass.

Is it any better than the V2? I'm so confused...

Yesterday I got the V2 of the deep sea....unfortunately D.O.A.....but the dealer takes acer of it and makes an exchange.

The watch itself was wonderful and the only give-away on the rep were 2 things....the bezel is not smooth but engraved...and the crystal is by far too thin and is not domed! To be quite honest...the rep looks way better than the real deal, tried the Real DeepSea in October and was shocked by the distortion of the domed crystal.....it looks like those old-time-breitling rep crystals...pure horror.

Looking forwrd to receive a working piece...cheers

I see that Perfect Clones (Josh) and Trusty time (Andrew) have a so called 1:1 DSSD out now. Can any one chime in on how good it is? Thanks.

Although I'm nowhere near the level of members like yourself Robbie, I can sympathize on what you're feeling. I've noticed that lately there many "hit-n-run" type of members joining our forums. This is probably attributable to the fact that there has been a flood of so-called Super-reps in the rep market in the past few years. I guess you can sort of view it in two ways. On the one side, it's good that the rep world in general has been growing more and more popular for the masses and on the other is that it will inevitably draw those who will pop in for a rep here and there and never really take this on as a hobby like many of us have.

So like everything else in life you have to take a bit of bad with the good. Personally, I always attempt to maintain some form of decorum with every member I interact with. You never know who might become a life long friend. Plus you wouldn't want others to judge you based on what little info we're privy to from the forum. As a buddy of mine used to say, "you never know if that noob you're talking to might be a Supreme Court judge". LOL

Congrats and welcome to a love affair with Omegas. Those broad arrow hands will put a smile on your face each time you look. Enjoy.

Did they fix the crown guards on this version? I've been told that it's a glaring flaw? Great pics and congrats on the pick up.

Not a 100% sure, but I don't think any U-Boat comes with a bracelet. Anyone else can confirm this?
