  1. OH MYYYYYYYYYY Sql_pl, Your girlfriend must be a model. Thank you for SUPER CUTE images. Cheers
  2. I used to experience with this problem too. In my case, I was trying to set time during the night. Some members here told me that 7750 movements have this issue. (I am very sorry that I can not remember who told me) The movement is processing day/date change. If we change them with quick-set, the day & date wheels will pop out. They said it is very easy to fix by putting them in place. I am not so sure about this but this is what I read from old post of my GST problem (day/date can not be changed). PS. One thing I have to put in mind, DO NOT SET ANYTHING ON THE 7750 WATCH DURING THE NIGHT (ON THE WATCH). My GST day/date change between 22.00 and 3.00
  3. Wow............ I don't understand what you mean by "far too heavy for watch use". Could you please explain me on this? As far as I understand from the original post of dry lubricant, the powder is used to polish the gear plate. It would be applied the same way as car polish by apply over the surface and remove all the visible powder. We only need thin invisible coated surface, not powder. I understand that the powder will cause problem the same way dust on dirty movement do. Btw, we also need to polish the surface when use the drop-dry lube to remove the excess chemical. It states on one website. PS. I already buy #3 and drop-dry Dupont. Wait & see what I will receive. hahaha........
  4. BTW, I just found one more item. 5. OTIS 902D Special Forces Dry Lube ::: This one is a drop-&-dry lubricant. Seller states that it is Lubricant/Cleaner/Preservitive at the same time. Just one drop it will lube 1 inch of the area and dry within 20 sec. This also is a Woww........ What do you think ??? BTW, Forgot to state that the items' price are different by $0.50 - $1.00 and the #5 is the most expensive @ $9.24 shipped CONUS. PS. This lube is not included in the list.
  5. Hi, it's me again. hahaha..... I just got the Ing Chrono from member on this board last week. Well, I am still waiting for the parcel to come. Meanwhile, I have to find all the tools and lube to work on it. This will be my first project. Hopefully I would not break it........ hahaaaaa........... I have visited eBay and found 4 different types of dry lubricant. 1. MR. ZIP" EXTRA FINE GRAPHITE Lock Lubricant ::: This is a graphite lubricant. This item is the cheapest item including shipping on eBay. From the review by Francisco, it should be fine as he use this with watches with Sec@6. Read Graphite Lubrication For Resuscitating Seconds at 6 Movements, IWC Portuguese, Daytonas and similars - By Francisco 2. PineCar Pinewood Derby Dry White Teflon Lubricant ::: This is a dry Teflon lubricant. No idea and no description on the item. 3. PINEWOOD DERBY DRY LUBRICANT - NANOTECHNOLOGY (WS2) ::: This one is described is dry Tungsten. And the specification as following. - COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION .03 DYNAMIC, .07 STATIC - TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE FROM -450 DEGREES F TO 1200 DEGREES F. - LOAD BEARING PROPERTY OF COATED FILM IS VERY HIGH AT 300,000 PSI. 4. MILITEC-1 DRY LUBE .5 oz Synthetic Metal Conditioner ::: This one is described as dry Synthetic metal lube. The seller said that the lube is being used with firearms by military in Iraq. Wow...... - Reduces corrosion, carbon and lead build-up - Remains on the metal even after repeated firing - - a minimum of 1,000 rounds - Is highly concentrated and long-lasting. One ounce of MILITEC-1 surpasses eight ounces of CLP-type lubricants Which would you like ? I think I will place order on #2, #3 tonight. Well, they are only $4-5 each, don't need to rob the bank. When I receive the item, I will post how the powder look. Cheers. Yim
  6. Thanks Tom. It is like you say. Music is not about the price but its always be the TASTE!! "Close your eyes, trust your ears" For me, it is very easy to choose all the cables. and wires. Just pick any silver wires, that's it. !!! hahaha.......... The difference is how much I like it and which one I like the most. In fact, I am not a very good listener due to my taste. Very high, low mid, low bass. I like girls sings on my nose. Anyway, Missing my system at home - custom made tube amp + speaker (by hi-fi & electronic magazine author, big bro) Don't know what is inside but acceptably cheap and I like it. - custom made 6922 head amp. (same guy) my best bright & clear head amp. Customers @ headphone store used to commend that this amp can make Senn 650 bright.
  7. Well, got no idea on how to start... I have been around here for quite sometime. Posting many stupid things, some like (???) and most don't. but I like it here. As you can see I am just a normal member, I always want to become a supported member but don't want to spend money out of my pocket (yet). hahaha.......... Okay, get into the point.................................. The reason of this post is to check interest on a RCA audio cable. I have some skills on how to solder, and about to place order for some wires for personal use. I want to share some audio experiences with people here, in exchange, you have to help me upgrade the member status and pay the shipping fee. The RCA cable specification - Standard gold plated Neutrik RCA connectors. (If you want other brand, you have to pay for them) (in case of 3 and 5 , this connectors are not worth the wire.) - 1m. (or shorter as you wish) of 2-3 wires hand-braided cable. It will be the winning wire of this poll. (Number of wires depend on the wire AWG size) - Soldered using Mundorf silver/gold solder. (The 2nd most expensive I could find, more expensive than WBT, and Cadas. The 1st expensive is Mundorf with more gold) Sound characters 1. OFC Copper : Good in mid, normal high, soft & relax. 2. OCC Copper (99.99999% & 1 crystal the whole wire) : like OFC Copper but the wire is purer so it is better. OCC refers to ? 3. Silver (99.99%) : Great high , bright & open. 4. Silver plated copper (??? but not tin plated) : Combine the good things from both copper and silver. Never try it because I believe that all the silver plated wires on my hand are fake tin plated wire. 5. Silver/Gold (99% silver + 1% gold) : This is my current favorite wire. Very expensive, very small. It has very bright character but soft. (???) better details and more relax than silver. I believe that this combination + any wires would be much better than those $150++ cables from the shelf. Again, This is just only for an interest check. Please help me vote the poll and give me some commends. PS. I will sum the poll on Sunday 15 June Thankz.. Yim
  8. Both Joshua and Andrew updated the price to be $218. Is it a WOW!! price? but, anyway, they state the movement is Asian 2824 so the best thing is "NO LIES"!
  9. Wow..... Thank you for the link. Very nice, I love them but @ his price of $8,888. I would get GEN. LOOK !! Joshua also has it @ $888,888. It would be better to get ourselves some Ferrari. http://www.pc-80108.com/0251-p-4657.html http://www.pc-80108.com/0251a-p-4658.html http://www.pc-80108.com/0251b-p-4659.html Hahaha....... Come on mann. Just kidding. BTW, The brown color looks different from other sellers. Is it because the way they take photos?
  10. To solve the worries of getting Rep ETA in Swiss price, we better buy watches that comes with A7750 or whatever that the sellers claim to be Asian ETA or Axxxx. With this, we are totally free from all lies (white, blue, gray, green, black, etc..) as they are already stated. Man......, Please don't kick me out of this board. hahaha......
  11. Wow, What a great topic !! It took me more than hour to finish this first page. To RobbieG : Does ETA really have factory assembling movements and making parts in China? I do not know how hard that the Rep maker process to get ETA movement. But I am sure that if they really want to, they could. 2 years ago, I used to talk with one person about replica items. He told me that everything that made in China, we can get it less than half of the price direct from factory (It is called "Direct-buy" haha) without serial number. He said that one of his friend purchased Versus golden chair from a factory, exactly the same item in AD but it came without serial number for 1/3 AD price. He said these factories make all the orders for their customers, well, they have mold. They can make extra units for those who want. Even the Germany designed power generator (not so sure how to explain in Eng) worth (many) millions of $ can be purchased about 1/2 to 2/3 of the AD price. Wow..... It's what he told me. He told me all the big business in China is in a form of mafia business. During his trip in China, he said that he had equipped military vehicles ran both in front and behind his RR. Please don't ask me if he lied or not, but he is in a well-known family and very rich in my country, of course not USA or EU. If ETA really have factory in China, it would be very easy to make extra 10,000 units of 2824, etc.. or even 100,000 of them. Coz they have all spec, detail, and machine, Why not make some extra profits into pocket??? This may not be known by the top executives of the factories, but surely known by the lower level of management. An easy example can be cloth factories, Let say Levi as example. Levi USA use 2 unit of textile to make 1 jeans. 20,000 unit of textile are given to one factory to make 10,000 jeans but the factory is so good, it use only 1.5 to make one. So they send 10,000 jeans to Levi, and make another 2,000-3,000 jeans to sell themselves. The extra units come in the same pattern, package but no serial number. Well, who know.... Another big example, another guy I know in Pattaya, Thailand. He said that he know one person who can purchase GM cars that assembled in Thailand for less than 1/3 of the market price. The car is totally fresh from the line, no defect, no problem, totally new. He said that car manufacturers will destroy 1 car every 300 or whatever as part of random quality control. This person is in high position in GM, Thailand. He could take these cars out and purchased as parts. Well, it's likely to be the same story of "I got Mold". Anyway, He can buy only what he personally purchase. PS. It's just what someone told me, please do not ask me if it's true or not but the story in Pattaya is true because one dealer @ Alfa AD used to offer me brand new Alfa 156 @ 3.5/10 of market price.
  12. @Fish :: Wow, is it really not exist? So please take the sandwich dial out of the spec . Thank you for help. @fitmic :: Thank you. BTW, I visited Josh site and found PAM < $110 with totally wrong movement but it interested me as it has solid caseback. Here it is. If I really interested in the look on the upper side, Will it be my good choice? Or I should go for something else? - Wrong movement, do not care. - Straps will be changed later. - AR, do not care. - Caseback is solid. Detail, do not care. - but from the pics, it has cannon pin fixes though !! Thank you.
  13. Hi all. I am now looking for new PAM for myself but, well, the budget is limited. BADLY LIMITED. I just spent a lot on cables, which ate all the money for watch, so the budget is badly lowed. Well, let say the budget is under $200 --. Which one would be the most accurate PAM under this price? If I may, I would like to have - PAM with solid case back. - Sandwich dial. - Hand-winding movement. - SS case without PVD - Very please to have it new. - Please recommend the source. Thank you.
  14. Cool !!! It worth over $35. If you got this one 2 months ago with new good straps, you can totally fool me.
  15. IWC movement is listed on Bay. I got no idea if it is real or not but it looks nice to me. BTW, will it fit rep GST? Enjoy bidding
  16. My reps pass hand-washing and watch-cleaning tests. Other than that I don't know. BTW, even I send my GST to serviced, it did NOT even pass the deep watch-cleaning test. Only one crown watches survive from leakage.
  17. My god.. Really sorry, I did not see the Topic section when I post. I clicked it on the quick link. If I have $400 for PAM, I will go for 183 + straps. I love the way 183 curve and its crown but mine one is not so good. (Actually very poor. I was fooled by local dealer.)
  18. for $400, I will buy 1. Rolex Explorer I with Asian Eta2813 2. IWC Ingenuier SS Black or 1. VC Overseas Black + get it serviced or 1. AP ROYAL OAK Chronograph Black + $25 to get it shipped (Seem like I have a big wish-list) And,,............. suddenly, my girlfriend wake me up.
  19. My girlfriend woke up in middle of the night saying "Shut the watch up, it is too noisy!!" :akuma: So I just simply replied "Sorry, I can't" and turned to my PAM and wind it. I used to have one 6497 movement outside the watch next to my pillow. It was even noisier than the one in watch. She almost kill me at that time.
  20. The strap is perfectly cool !!!! BTW, Do you have any pictures of the ammo pouch before it become the straps?
  21. Cool site. It even shocks me with the price. BTW, it is Jap Yen.
  22. Last 2 years when I went to China I saw one perfect rep of Rolex. It has Tag Link body with white Rolex dial. Mannnn,..... Even ape known that was FAKE.
  23. OOppp.... Sorry, my bad. In the picture, I just meant to clasp, not the whole bracelet. I will change new image for 1-2, and add more image for 3-4 tonight. BTW, thank you for answers from Southcoast68.
  24. My girl become more interested in her Rolex DJ and come up with tons of question which I can not provide answers. Well, I am newbie. To make it interesting for you to answer, I put one gift for the first person who help me with all the answers. It is a 4Copper I sell on eBay. Just click the link below to see it. If you interested in Headphone and stuffs, you may consider this offer is useful. If notou may prefer not to take it but it will be nothing else give. Okay, Lets the quiz begin. 1. Which year Rolex change there bracelet style from A to B? 2. Where to find replacement clasp of A? 3. Which year Rolex begin to put Rolex engrave on the rehaut? 4. How accurate of this watch? Just add, 5. The crystal do not have crown on it. Is it possible to get new one to replace and where to get it? Thank for all answers.
  25. What I tried to mean was that manufacturer already have movement with 28.8 bph. They can just go with whatever they have. The market I mention was about the price. Watch with Asian21 priced around $100++, ETA clone $150++, and Swiss ETA around $220++. So if they make clone3135 and sell it at $180, $250, or $350(So call Ultimate Rolex ), will you buy it? It is Chinese movement anyway. Even they sell ETA version @ $270, I will go for it anyway. If you say that over 10mil gen Rolex sold in Asia alone, it would be please to know about rep I guess, 100 million.
