That is genuine bud,you would think you could tell...
-
Ya no kidding,i would not have bought it due to this.
-
Welcome from Toronto buddy, enjoy the forum...

The 'swiss' SFSO has the same movement as the gen,how can ya top that... For the most part the lume dots are the issue i have, even if they are not bad like Andrews here, most are not like that and still don't look like they do on the gen, such a stand out flaw to me,but its just my opinion, its a good rep and looks better than a Fish,Breitlings need bling!...

Are Stainless Steel Bracelets Unfashionable Nowadays ?
Dave123 replied to RIBOOWW2's topic in General Discussion
'unfashionable'... This must be my wife,is this thread about purses or shoes?... -
Is it really that strange to ask if a watch is within COSC specs?
Dave123 replied to youpmelone's topic in The Rolex Area
Was that Fernando at interwatches? He's a good dude man, polite as they come, bought my SA from him. Seems he is just being honest. -
Usually 2-3 weeks?...do you have them strap it to a fish?... Usually 4 days,5 tops for me from Josh, never had any issues with Canada Post aside from the RWG C1 watch i sold to phaedo at the end of October,it never arrived, watch is lost (a shame) and i gave him his money back,Canadaposts 'trace' of lost packages is a complete joke.

I don't get that 'most in one day' bit,at RG right now it says 1479 members have visited so far today. 881 users right now there and 249 here. Do you mean there was over 1500 all at once here at one time?... RWG is the original thats still around, going strong and thats a good thing, lots of knowledge here.

Though lume is an afterthought on Breits, guess i should have put up a lume shot... I love the bracelet and clasp on this...
-
Thats a very nice watch in person, the dial color is not the usual so it will remain a rare piece in the future, nice to have something different. Keep on enjoying it my friend,i know ya do.
-
That is correct,nice clean look....
-
That pic with both in hand kinda does, doesn't it.... Scone,an ETA movement base,Breitling just came out with their first in house, and they didn't make it for me...though i begged,i was told Andrew is ahead of me on that list.... Jay,class indeed mate, there is no question, the SA is basic while 'in your face',i have always liked that, the Bentley's finish is up there among the best of the best,no matter if it gets the respect or not.
-
I figured it would Dems,i figured it would.
-
I've done that 4 times now on these forums Dems, same responce, none till i ask I would love to put up some of my fave. Dems quotes, but each one would take up a page or so...

Battle of the heavyweights?.... the GMT vs the SA....some might be interested....its rainy here today, kinda dark for pics... Here are some shots anyway of the two together, its a toss up to me on which is larger...i again apologize for whatever that black thing is on my camera.... Side by side flat down....edge to GMT,slightly larger i would say... Upwards, again the GMT is the clear winner i think, not by much though... Thickness of case,SA on left, slight edge to SA but not by much, yet again.... On these two angles the SA is the clear winner i would say... Dig the clasp on the Bentley, this pic from behind shows them as pretty much the same size.... Case is much wider at the lug area on the GMT as clearly noted here.... And one last side by side.... So as many that own SA's know, its a large watch,i would say the GMT is slightly larger but not as heavy on the wrist, again slightly... What say you guys, big difference?...same sh ite?.....
-
Fantastic pics Jay,the SA is great value for the money no question, the best deal in 'high end' watches.
-
Thanks Omni my friend, your compliments? are always appreciated by me....
-
Thanks H. The size is just right for me,i loved the GT in the blue dial actually, that dial really pops in blue, but at 44mm,its too small,if it was this size its the watch i would own right now, really nice. The size issue with Breitlings is a love it or hate it thing but frankly i think the majority are leaning towards loving it,even Rolex has finally decided to go with the flow with the DSSD,more will come i'm sure... You and maybe even BT will come around at some point, why wait?...
-
I'm still figuring this GMT stuff out, dunno why but i guess i should...hmm,since Toronto isn't listed i guess i will never know what time it is here....
-
A little beyond me BT,never thought i would care what time it is in Tokyo... The GMT hand does a sweep of the dial on its own each day,it can be moved up an hour manually by pressing the pusher on the left side of the case...
-
If i make another trip downtown to pick up a watch, you can meet me at divorce court to look it over.... Thanks guys, will put up a few new pics tomorrow for those interested in them.
-
I bought my white dial as there was no rep of it at the time, now i bought this as there is no rep of it. I bought the SA Blacksteel as there was no rep, then help them rep it.... I am a confused bugger.
-
The SA is here... As for the functions of the watch,i will get around to figuring them out someday...i'm all about looks.... The rehaut rotates with the bezel.
-
Just picked up my GMT,its getting dark here and i didn't want to insult this work of art by taking many pics... So i took a bunch of wristies,i don't consider them pics.... A big upgrade from SA,i am thrilled to have been able to pick it up,my AD tossed in a nifty hat even after a robbed him on this.... They better not rep this,i will be p issed.... Enjoy. There is some black thing on my camera lens,sorry...
