  1. White dial Pams are fugly as clearly noted. That Ebel looks great, but nothing beats the SA,of course.
  2. Had the gen in my hand yesterday, the rep is pretty good, wear it with pride. The bronze dial i owned is not like the gen though,to dark, thought i would mention that.
  3. Hard to take this thread seriously now....looking for scraps...
  4. You should be fine,i know a guy that wears a 47mm Pam on his 6.5 inch wrist, looks fine to me...
  5. I would hope so,any lower and they would be free.... Seems like the clear winner.
  6. Same here, last time i had to login i had to have my account deleted and a new one made,i actually joined in March '07,at least in happened on my anniversary,oh the usefull posts that were lost....
  7. No,he bought a new VDP back in '87 and then a new XJS in '89....my mother was able to toss the Buick Century and take over the VDP... Man,did they end up really missing that Buick.
  8. Good to see you here as well my friend,RWG1 must be down?.... I was unaware that Obama was here, which province did he visit...Ontario,Alberta,Florida?... Jaguars are nice cars, the prestige of an owner is not if he can afford to buy the car,but can afford to keep it on the road. Nice looking cars,my father had 2 of them.
  9. Can't argue that fact Dems, well said. Make sure to pick up that Jag used, they go for less than Honda Civics of the same year around here....
  10. No Dizz, you must have seen the new 2009 Bentley by now....
  11. My gen is the white numerals version, different from the batons but with that gen dial added, its as a good a rep as you can get. My buddy 'bollobandit' on RG is planning on selling his white batons dial gen SA,new condition, might get a decent price out of him in Canadian dollars,he is picking up the gen purple dial Bentley Motors on Teusday,as a seller he is rock solid,no question.
  12. The rep in that pic was mine and it had the AR redone and a gen strap added. A nice watch,i might be picking up the gen on Tuesday.
  13. Was it this watch..... Or possibly this one?...a fave of mine....
  14. Don't think this franken has been put together yet by anyone, thought i would toss up a few pics for thoughts, gen blue dial (from Cheiftang)installed and a gen blue leather strap,my beater watch now.... Whatever that black thing is on my camera lens,i can't get it off....
  15. Just went and dug up that post i was talking about,he said he had things to do but would be back at some point.
  16. I asked this at RG a while ago and he posted something along the lines of finding better things to do with his time from now on....
  17. This guy is the ultimate lurker, seen him lurk daily for years at RWG1 and never posted, always thought he was some ghost....
  18. Rooster, here is a better version of your avatar,it features twotone....
  19. Well Ajoe, though you have nice t its,it seems you have been given the subtle boot here. And in chinese as well....
  20. Well said. I like Ajoe as a forum member at RG,but in reading his thread about getting his AR run going,he doesn't seem overly confident in it,and then wonders why the responce was lousy,i was going to point that out in his thread there. I personally would like to see how it turns out,and mentioned that instead, but i agree about the points in regards to B.,he is the man and Ajoe has some real shoes to try to fill on this project,a big good luck to him on that one....
  21. Yes if you try angles hard enough you can get the blue to show, but in general its dark, kind of like how the brown MBL dial looks black in most pics you see on the forums.
  22. Looked black most of the time to me Andrew, you could always buy it and if you don't like it resell it and get your money back or at least almost all of it,always someone ready to pick one up.
  23. Man you still kill me bud.
  24. Didn't bother me,but like all rep watches i buy,its gone now as i only actually wear the SA in my avatar. The MBL is a classy watch, good for the suit and tie type, which i'm not.
