  1. Sapphire? If so, a razor blade will do it.
  2. I'd wear a Planet Ocean with a suit, as long as it had the steel bracelet.
  3. And the search would have ... never mind, I can't be arsed to get into it again.
  4. And fees once you're in? That's what I'm talking about. Nice evasion on the poor students though.
  5. The same as everyone else's. Not bad, in other words. Try Silix's Fiddy if you want a cheap one. It's a lot of watch for $125.
  6. A decent amount of debt coming out of college isn't what I was talking about. If you have no money, how do you get into the schools in the first place? How many truly poor-yet-average kids were in your class at college? Now, how many rich-but-average kids were there?
  7. Read my tutorials linked below. If you are too close to focus, pull back. You've got enough definition in a good camera to crop the picture and retain detail.
  8. Try "wrist". You'll get lots of posts, most of which are ignorable wristshots, but there are some gems in there for you.
  9. That's no Auto Chrono ...
  10. I got my 16610 insert from him and constantly get asked where it's from. I rate it highly.
  11. Or, the more obvious and likely, your PC is compromised.
  12. All dealers or just dealers that aren't them? No, I don't actually have any suspects. It was a throw-away joke.
  13. Cheers, Joe. If Mrs Pugwash doesn't have her 7mm to hand, I'll take you up on that.
  14. Oh good, as I have from T6 to T12. That'll make life $60 easier!
  15. ...and if you have a gen red Sub dial, it's a certainty you have a gen watch, because ... well, the dial is the hard bit to get.
  16. Wow, pricey. I'll be trying to use a makeshift replacement, I think.
  17. Fantastic. I'm going to get me a 7mm tap if Mrs Pugwash doesn't find hers tonight. As for the tube insertion tool ... what's that?
  18. The crown was centred vertically in the guards. That's a sure mark of a gen.
  19. Now, I've got the old tube out of my MBK 1680 Sub and am looking at fitting a Cousins or gen replacement. I can't seem to find a tutorial on what I assumed would be a fairly well-documented task, so I'm asking for any advice and data from anyone so I can compile a guide that will serve all the new owners of these iconic replicas, as we're about to have an influx of members with these watches thanks to the Group Buy. So, I'm after any information and experiences, in particular with information about what crowns, tubes and tools to use. In discussions with The Zigmeister, I've learned that maybe the Cousins tubes are better than the Genuine Rolex parts and that I need a 7mm Tap. Discussing tapping the case with Mrs Pugwash, as she has way more experience with serious metalwork than I, she expressed concerns over the amount of metal I'd be shaving off if I needed to drill the current threads out prior to tapping. Does anyone know anything about that? What I shall do is collate all the info presented in this thread into a tutorial that covers crown guards, tubes and crowns in a convenient readable photo-rich article, so please help the community and share what you can, be it links, advice, pics or questions.
  20. I am not a fan of editing posts after they've been discussed as they break the logical flow for someone reading it afterwards.
  21. http://www2.b3ta.com/bukkake/ "Surprisingly worksafe"
  22. So as long as they bag them in groups of three, I can order unlimited amounts? What you're suggesting is like saying "As long as I order stuff over the internet, it's just like buying whisky at the duty free shop. They limit you to a litre per trip, but if I order it on the internet, it's got to be the same, right?" The intention of this thread is to gather known facts, not speculations. The more accurate we are, the easier it will be for someone using the search feature to find specifics that will assist them in their purchases.
  23. One of the hottest watches with a stand-out best dealer and you can't find it in the search engine? ps. Look for "best fiddy" or "best 127" and you'll see an overwhelming consensus. pps. Yes, I am aware that writing this post took longer than just typing the answer, but come on!
