I disagree with this wholeheartedly. Here's how I see it: A factory will release one version and another, competing factory will improve on it, meaning the first factory has to make the 3rd gen to regain the distributor's interest. There is no "let's milk them" plan.

Well, unfortunately, Mrs Pugwash is heading off to Scotland for a few weeks and next weekend is her last, so I won't be able to find time to do the speedy guided tour until the last week of July. I was planning on getting the PAW moving on the 31st July, as it needs to move, and I do recall it was heading off to Edinburgh next. I'll have a full review/pictorial in just over a week. I can say one thing already, and that's the fact that the strap shows plenty of use from multiple owners. Ideally, the next recipient would have a 6.5"-6.75" wrist and then the bracelet wouldn't need resizing. Edge was booked in, provisionally, as next recipient and this works for me, unless R11co wants to take it friday, whirlwind through Italy/Monaco and get it back to me before Mrs Pugwash returns from the Clyde Valley ...

Pretty much any new camera, including $100 ones, will do. As long as you stick to safe brands, you can do a lot better than a phone camera.

Here's a guess. It's a smuggler's watch. The buttons open secret compartments where you can keep drugs or something. Either that, or it's a pill watch for when to take your medication. It has to be an unusual single-purpose watch like that. Edit: Medication could also be booze

My Panasonic's main failing is its high noise over 100 ISO. It's unfortunate, but I find for the money the lens makes up for it. You may have mentioned it. Have you seen the MoonWatch pic too? ps. Kind words always appreciated.

This is actually not hard to do. You set up your bottle and a sound-activated flash and take a tight aperture shot in low light. The breaking noise sets off the flash. So, as you can see, it's neither precision nor high-speed. I did some of this as a kid with an air-rifle and eggs.
