  1. I'd love to see how you think you should get here
  2. I can see by the scratches on the crystal and the lack of display back that you had the real Moon Watch. Respect. I'd hate to have needed to sell this.
  3. No surprise at all. I'd be like that too.
  4. Honestly, I had to force myself this morning to not put my GMT on, or the Moon Watch, so I went for The Legend.
  5. I haven't seen the Horizon episode, but I read the news about it. What I didn't understand was why the much simpler theory of its beign a fulgurite wasn't explored. Did Horizon mention lightning at all? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/5196362.stm
  6. It's worse when 1=2 a = b a2 = ab a2 -b2 = ab - b2 (a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b) a+b=b 2=1 ps. Your rectangle has a gap in the middle.
  7. I didn't think I'd be seeing the puns so SPOON. (Sorry, Blue Raja)
  8. Typical scots, missing the point completely. "Aye, I goat me a corn cob chib, nat noo, aye, ken? Geis a swally o yer ginger the noo." Spoons Ho!
  9. SPOONS HO!!! In your face, forkyforkfork.
  10. I'd be more interested in replica cutlery. Well, to be honest, replica spoons, but I suspect the forkista and knifey-boys would just call me bigotted if I didn't involve them. As much as I don't like replica forks, I mean is the price difference really enough to justify it, I understand the forkista were the first to get the bevel problem sorted so us spoonies could have perfect handle ends, and I understand the engravature arguments too, so to not invite the forkista wiould be plain rude. I'm even willing to let the smallyspoons in, witht he teaspoon and coffee spoon collectors alike. Spoons Ho!
  11. I agree. No-one would really notice unless you'd already given them reason to suspect its a rep. If you want to be really shocked about your skills of observation, turn your H model over and look at how the OFFICINE PANERAI text droops down to the bottom right. Now you have something new to bug you.
  12. The site has been suspended. That was quick.
  13. It's a "I don't realise my phone uses its own memory and not the SIM" thing. SIMs are slow and small compared to modern phones.
  14. I honestly don't think they do it on purpose. If this project doesn't get a 100% perfect 1:1 dial right first time, then your theory falls over.
  15. A device that allows you to back up all the dynamic data on your SIM card, obviously. You put your SIM in and it copies all the phone numbers, notes, etc. to the local memory.
  16. Yay! Finally 'flamed' by TTK.
  17. I need a GST Chrono and a Moonwatch. I nearly bought the $1300 Automatic MoonWatch when I saw it in the local AD, but I wondered if there's going to be a Co-Axial one soon. Oh, and I didn't have 1300 Euros. As long as you don't have to be as gay as in the photos, I'd think about it.
  18. I'd have no qualms with a $3-4000 watch like a 111h or Sub.
  19. Hey, I hear Trusty's Toy Piano takes genuine parts. Can anyone confirm this? Where can I get batteries for my Toy Piano? Joe's ill and The Zigmeister's on holiday. Does Palpatine do them?
  20. I can tell you that ADs cannot sell online ... For pricing, I tend to look at Montres International
  21. Damn, I don't think I got flamed by TTK. I just got a superb cheap watch from him first try. Oh, well, I suppose I win then.
  22. Let the record show that I was the first to ask for the Toy Piano. Everyone else, the queue starts behind me, ok? TOY PIANO!!!
  23. I think I may have mentioned this numerous times in my photography tutorials. Even if it looks passable on the tiny, tiny phone screen, once you get it to a 24" calibrated HD monitor, it looks like a grey smudge. Any chance of taking a small real camera next time?
  24. How has he learned a lesson? It's cost him nothing. It could have cost one of our trusted dealers his paypal.
