It's peculiar to post this stupid question here, but I'm just curious weather there is some guys would buy a replica watch? According to me, the originals are too expensive and just rich men can afford it and they often have more than one or two pieces. While there are still a large number of people have champagne taste but a beer budget. Is that you?
I supppose that you have mad a good analagy there, This hobby does alow us to wear lots of watches that most of us would never be able to afford.

If you paid the tax on them in Austrailia you will have to pay the import tax when you import them as private possessions into the UK, simple as that if you declare them.

IWC 3717. Or MK XVI V2
-
You will be liable for import tax into the EU, if you get caught and for Carry on they will be seen as all Cary on will be X-ray also if you and partner are all carrying 4 watches a piece then if I was customs I would be suspicious, the reps I would send with any furniture you may be shipping, the most expensive of the gens I would wear, the next most expensive would be carry on and the rest in checked luggage, if you get stopped on the way in by customs and find all the gens then as I say you may well be liable for import duty to the EU

Please do t scrimp on the shoes
Got to a good specialized shop and find out what is best for you then look to get them at a better price, I used to run in asdics but then decathlon opened up in Germany near me and I started getting good shoes from there and at a very good price.
You can run naked or in a sack if you want but get the right shoes

It realy needs stripping and checking to find the leak in the first place then if found remedial action can be taken to seal it. Yes you can do it your self if you have tools and experience
-
Well first thing it to get it dry inside. You need a zip lock bag it Tupperware small box and some silica gel packs or rice, open the case back or at least open the crown and seal the watch in the bag or container, the silica gel or rice will absorb the moisture that is inside the watch.

Just a quick bump on this to say that I have not worn another watch gen or rep, (and those that know me know I have a bit of choice at home) since I got this, it is a shame that the patina grows fast on the leather pretty fast but it is just a perfect and useable Pam well done to the makers of this one!

Not bad at all!!
-
I used to have a comparison photo of the V1 and gen but cant find it now
-
No I am saying that the 1st gen are the same as the genuine not a clue about the 2nd gen
-
The dials from the first SFSO are the same tone as the gen, trust me

If it goes to 39 it may not be a 7750 but an a21j ( but I have never seen a BB like that)
But is it is a 7750 (working chronos) and it goes to 39 then you are in a world of pain trying to get the date right. I remember doing it on mine years ago and you need a degree in algebra or a lot of time

I only know of the two versions the Kemmner one that Wilson watch works had and some military watch seller on the bay who's version was a good step down from the quality of the Kemmner, I am sure I heard a rumor of some one developing one with the auto version of the st 18 Venus type movement but so far that has yet to appear in reality

Just read the omega area, if you want the best then you need to look for a closed factory one if one ever comes for sale

Even a 5 star hotel room is lonely, and when it is 5 days a week you sure tire of it fast

Its not just the case it is the law. If you declare them!!!
now if you were on a return ticket and were just coming fr a GTG or trade show then that would be different
I travel a lot and need a Carnet for some of the things i travel with so that we can fly in and out of the EU with out tax problems.
