That is a question for a Trade Mark Lawyer
-
I think it is the crown guard that is trade marked, different laws than patented as it never runs out as far as I know, but I don't think the shape of the case is.
-
But all you really see there are computer generated images though so tread with caution

There is a company making them but I have never seen them in the flesh
http://www.signstimemovements.com/watch-movements/
This was the company that had made one

If this is a disguised sales post consider your self warned I will let you edit out the sales bit and then you can look at upgrading to the correct status before you try and sell again
-
The only issue with waterproofing on reps is the quality control, many of them may be but you won't know for sure unless you check it!
Or you don't check it and it fails then you know.
But I would not say they are rare
-
Not a lot of clues in those photos ???
-
If it is gaining a min a day I would recommend getting it checked by a watch smith as that is too much for the fine adjuster to fix, remember that you only have adjustment of +- 20 sec a day any thing more than that and you have to remove the auto wind bridge and move the main adjuster arm, and if you are having to ask about this then I assume you don't have a vibrograph to make the adjustments and check the beat by.

The screw is an eccentric adjuster if you look closely you will see that the screw slot has an open and a closed end the open end should always point out of the wish bone, turn the screw so the open end points to the - and it will run slower to the + and it will run faster. You should have 20 seconds plus and minus adjustment as every graduation is worth 5 seconds
-
There is apparently a 775? That is hand wind only, so you could swap out the spring barrel
-
Ok your Choice See you in 7 days
-
Do it! I am sure you will love it
-
One more snide comment Tomas and you may as well book a fortnights holiday
-
Tomas take it as a warning, don't gob off, and if you mean free then say that
-
Please read the rules if you want to sell here you need the correct status.
Take this as a formal warning, next time it will be a time out!
I edited your attempt to sell here with out the correct status

Just hijacking this DH, if any one has a bracelet and a crown I am looking for those parts
DH if you happen to find those parts and need the case dial and hands let me know
-
Odd I always do it as a matter of course an never charge extra for it when I work on some ones watch
-
I already changed the standard strap for one that matches my bike paint job but I loved the issued one it just did not take the punishment well
-
Moved to correct area, stunning watches though are they not!
-
If you will not and have never touched a balance spring then you have never properly cleaned a 2824, the reason it is running that fast is more than likely that two coils of the balance are touching and the way to solve that would be to clean it
-
For an active teenager i would sugext something like a seiko auto, ok it is not a rep but solidly built and great looking, with a vintage SM300 the plexy will get destroyed,
He will have to work hard to mess this up and also it wont be a target for getting mugged for his watch
-
If you had read the rules then you would have known not to do that and we don't want to hear about, there is no point trying to justify your self we don't want to hear about it.
Pam 089 who is still wearing theirs?
