Just press it out from the back but it helps to have a crystal press too get it back in flat, and check the retaining gasket if it has been pressed in at an angle then the gasket could be deformed
Adz most sporty reps and non chronos can be made water resistant with a bit of QC there is no reason that these can not pass a 5atm check once the orings are confirmed to be there, greased and the case back and crystal are fitted correctly
I have noticed that the new $98 1680 have a pretty strong magnification but never nooticed the difference in gen and clarks
this is a clarks i know Cats has a gen crystal installed on his MBW so maybe he could add a photo
Could just be that the gmt hand has lifted a bit or the gear that is pressed ontop of the date corrector is loose or come off, i had one like this the other week. I am in the EU if you want me to have a look at it.
Release the main spring tension and try winding again, but if this movement wont run generaly there is something wrong with it od the fitting, a simple thing like the dial pressing on the seconds hand can oftern be the cause
I have in the pars worked on my blackbird movements and the problem here is that the left date wheel is not indexed properly, the fix would be to remove the dial and hands and refit the date wheel, it took me ages to work out the correct squencing, and i do mean ages. the best option here is send it back to Andrew in my oppinion.
