great job mate! I've just received the gen 79350 as well, and trying to find someone local who can handle the job.. A few questions for ya.. Looking at the crown, it seems the crown position has not been changed as in previous Sander's mod.. what was done to accept the gen movement without drilling out the crown hole? Did Domi shorten the pushers as well? I've always thought the rep pushers looked longer compared to the gen pics.. B.

Hi gentleman, I've acquired a 2nd gen FGD pre-A 002 dial months back, yet to have finished the project. Now I'm trying to finish the deal.. but not sure of which caseback to use.. Which one/dealer has the most accurate Pre-A 002 caseback? Thanks for your input. HKT

love those gen dials fgd. now if you can make some fgd 001/004 dials from that... it'll go nice with my fgd pre-a 002

Hi RWG, Just finished assembling my white dial pam 010/114.. needs an accurate back to finish it off.. but I'm not in a hurry.. thanks to ubiquitous and the RWG squad for providing the accurate dsn dial.. I have a franken 49/51 in my watchbox, but this white base 44mm looks quite good as well. On to the pics! Had some dsn hands in the parts box to match the dial. The Strap was made by me using Prada style embossed italian leather and german orange threads. edge was finished with italian gloss edge coat. yet to mix the color to accurately match the strap color itself. next time I'm planning to play around with the matte coat instead. thanks for viewing:) HKT

Yes I definately guarantee Z and Vac's work..just plain professional.. an asset to all replica owners, not just to RWG. Also very nice to deal with..perfect communication. I didn't really understand all the fuss about LH's AR crystal(quote unquote BLUE BLUE hue) until I was fortunate to get the direct source where he gets his pre-modded watches. 3 cases in my hand at the moment, and I can definately guarantee these crystals have ugly blue AR.. I really like LH's work and recommend the fantastic work(I even have one), but the crystal just has to be reworked in some way. Just my 2 cents.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Gentlemen, Like to introduce my one of my on going projects, the lil' brother of PAMS the PAM51C.. the smaller 40mm model.(Nope this not for my Mrs. ) Many projects are on the table at the moment, but since I prefer the Panerai over other brands, plus its smaller size & SS/Leather Strap swap can take on almost every kind of suit/occasion ; this should be one of the daily beaters. Many disregard the 40mm models, and yes this feels smaller from my other 44/45/47mm PAMs, but sometimes I find the larger modles bulky.(I have a 7 1/4inch wrist) Before the pics begin, I would like to give BIG THANKS to many members on this forum for advice, especially DADOG13 for forwarding me a SALES POST on a rare A7750/Accurate Caseback/SS PAM51C at a great price, and fellow members Beano/Sylar for providing a GEN dial at an affordable price as well. I'll let the pics do the talking. Here's the out of the box PAM51C. Mind covering the DW. It's a faily accurate piece, the lower dash on the A's and green lumes may be the pet peeves to some, but since the 40mms are smaller, it is hard to tell. After acquiring the GEN dial, I start disassembly. Screws off. Caseback, Crown guard off ya go. Crown and movement ring screws taken off as well. So the movement is out on its own, and the hands are ready to be pulled off using a presto hand remover. Hands are off, rep dial is pulled out with care. No pics here.. Here's a comparison of the REP and GEN dial. Before looking at the GEN in person, I had some doubt on the lacquer finish of the REP. But as you can see here, it's not that bad. Almost spot on.. Round of applause for the Chinese. IMHO, the biggest aspect the GEN has over the REP is the thickness/boldness/darker printing of the dial. Just have to see it to believe it. The GEN dial is now placed on the movement with the hands. Need to check the DW changes properly w/ the hands. All of this is done on a movement holder. Just took pics on a bergeon movement cushion/pad. I hate that thin DW! ANYONE W/ WHITE LELLO 7750 DW Please shoot me a PM The Assembly is just the opposite....plus the o-rings greased, quick lube on the necessary parts.. here's the finish product. LOVE the dark/bold printing. The hands quality is quite good as well. Some SL mod in need though. Quick shot next to the REP dial. Mind the smudge:) So, what do I do next? Well, it seems the DW swap is a must... and there are a few others as well ; lume the hands/polish out the Cannon Pinion, 6mm chief cyclops. new polish on the case..and the list goes on.. Still a long a way to go,(considering this took me half a year already..) but i'm quite satified at the moment. I've made a strap as well to match the 22mm lugs. Beveled on the edges. Wrist shot. nice work Brobert and Milesd ! seems lh has two versions.. his first batches had an off white print..(my 111) then all of a sudden it changed to white.. now his new batches are off white again after his comeback

here's my v2 w/ lello DW. I've had the v3 as well.. the v2 had the better dial quality... at least the one's I have seen before.

hi guys, I'm planning to restore a pretty bashed up closed caseback w/ engravings...(it's a PAM B series) I've checked w/ my watchsmith having the expertise solely in the polishing business.. and he states.... 'the engravings will only result in a satin finish(which is not accurate to the current flat, unpolished engraving).. SINCE to restore the swirl(circle) brushed finish and still minimize the engravings from getting lighter, the case has to be intially polished. (which means the engravings cannot be brushed after this process)' Anyone w/ the expertise to chime in on this matter? Thanks HKT

as one of the 1st gen FGD's I'm looking forward to the 2nd gen lume version as well keep us updated on the project!
