Loved it But then again I am British. Not sure if the "yanks" will find it as funny - but then again they don't have the brit sense of humour

Welcome to the forum A good place to start is here By-Tors Rolex reviews By-Tor is a legend with some great reviews. Another place to look for some good, modded rollies is BK's Watch Garage Enjoy

Sorry to hear this. I am surprised a reputable site allows any fly by night fraudster to advertise there without vetting them first !

...or maybe complimenting in your watch was part of his sales pitch !

I can't comment on the gen or rep straps as I haven't actually handled them. As regards the Di Modell, I am really happy with it. It looks and feels great. If you look further up the thread, you will see that Tom also has them on speedies and likes them too. The only downside of the Di Modell is that it doesn't have a Tag branded buckle and you can't add one as it uses 2 tangs as opposed to the standard one. I hope this helps.

Nice watch - rare, different and smart - wear it well Out of interest, what size is this watch - I can't really tell from the photos

I love the watch but for my taste, I would prefer to see that strap on the PO with either orange bezel and/or orange numerals. I think it would look amazing on one of those, really set off the watch

x2 on the SFSO

Hi All, In the end I went with the Di Modell Rallye strap (thanks Tom). It took a lot of effort to get the steel bracelet off the tag but I finally managed it ! Here are some photos of the Tag on a leather strap. In my opinion, it looks much better ! 1- side by side with a photo of a gen with the bracelet on: 2 - Another one with them closer: 3 - Finally, a wrist shot

Nice to hear that despite regretting the loss of the girlfriend, you have now found a better version with a few ugrades thrown in -
Hi Zig, Given your trip to France now and the "risk" on counterfeit goods, I think you should do the GTG in London

Hi there, I have a Legend Honeyz Gator. I have taken a few photos and as soon as I get them off my camera I plan on writing a review. As a quick response, I found it to be one of the best quality straps I own. Lovely soft leather with a real quality feel to it. My comments would be: - You need a decent size wrist to pull it off as it is thick, with an even thicker buckle - The length is fine, it seems long but as you say, due to the thickness, it fits well - On the top side of my watch, it is so thick that it rubs against my PAM 111 case I hope this helps. Watch out for my review soon

Unfortunately, rep collecting is too additcive. Since I started collecting, my wife has left me, my kids are on crack cocaine, the bank has repossesed/foreclosed my house, the finance company has repossessed my car and the bailiffs have taken all my belongings. I am still happy though, as long as I have my park bench, blanket and watch box full of my beloved reps -
Debating my first rep...... Any input welcome

If you like a Rolex, I would recommend the Euromariner or Noobmariner. This would be an excellent introduction into the rep world with an affordable but good quality rep to start you off. Alternatively, an Asian Breitling Superocean Steelfish (SFSO) is another good beginners choice. -
Try emailing Chris and asking for: - a price: - spec details - photo
-
I haven't bought from him but I believe that Chris@EuroTimez also stocks a Steelfish variant called the NoobFish

I am not sure what you were showing off there - the great watch or the great girlfriend ?

Hublot Euro 2008 For UEFA Referees Limited Edition 44 pieces

I agree with the other posts here, I wouldn't wear it Saying that, it is very different and may become a collectors item. Notice that actual time is the smaller dial in the centre and that the larger dial, with the large markers is set to 45 minutes to time the first and second half of the game. Looks fairly unique to me ! -
I hate these reviews !!! They make me want to buy more watches That is a great review, so much so, I may need to consider the Aquanut in the future. Enjoy the watch
-
OK guys, I tried removing the spring bar using a small screwdriver I use for my Panerai. For the life of me, I cannot seem to get the bar to budge !!! When I move the center bar, it just shifts to the other side - Ggrrrrr Any other advice ?

Thanks, I'll give it a try when I get home later.
