Well, I'm looking for a Breguet 3965 Classic - Maybe I could find it here. Wait, no...I want the rep.

Thanks Gran...and Yes, Watch Guy, I'm sure I could go to the extent of getting a new credit card, new bank, use a different address, or whatever it takes...but, I shouldn't have to. In addition, due to the treatment I got...I care NOT to have an account with pp at this time. It seems they'll take your money, but as soon as you have a problem with them or a scam, you're out. No help, no nothing. So...I'm done with them (for now). I guess that's why there is a website called NoPayPal

Well, I've told stories about my father's gold DayDate president that I got him a while back. He owned a Gen. gold DayDate president that he gave to my brother prior to this one I got him from EL. He can't tell the difference and he loves it. He says it feels like the gen in all instances...and he feels better wearing it around town just because he knows it doesn't cost the 11k that the other did. He was a bit concerned, due to a bit of crime in the area, that if it was stolen, he'd be upset to lose such an expensive watch. He's very pleased with the rep; the gold is still as sharp and shiny as the gen and his conscience is eased as well. Oh, and it keeps perfect time.

Well, pp has been a problem for me from the beginning. Since the first board and beyond. I was scammed on eBay YEARS ago...like 1999 or 2000. They froze my account and to this day will not allow me to use my account. I honestly would understand if I WAS THE SCAMMER, but this happened to me and I am locked out? So...about a year ago, I tried to open a NEW account...and somehow they figured out it was me and "Bang" I was cut off again stating that I have an unresolved issue. Due to this fact, I have to pick and choose amongst the NON pp dealers here...and sometimes that's a little tough. So, I'm limited as to what I can do here. Thanks pp.

Thanks All!!! @ jkerouac - Ha Ha...Yea, this time, if I go out of town between June and August, I'm bringing what I have with me. It's not much, but that'll save me from waterproofing everything I own.

Thanks, I like the flip case back as well. Check out the captions...I'm sure I'll use it for this purpose: Smaller pic of the one above:

River's (gen) Turning Globe Watch WN-1 Seiko
SubFrog replied to cornerstone's topic in General Discussion
Huh? Wow, that looks like a snow globe watch. I'm not too sure I'd wear it either. -
Well, as many of you know, I've been out of commission for a long while now and am very glad to be back in the fold here. My wallet has become too fat and needed a little deflating. SO, I’ve decided to look up my favorite dealer and take that post-Katrina “plunge”, as many call it. I emailed EL about 5 different items that he had to offer and chose the PATEK 5053 – Cream dial. I miss my old Patek, so this will be a nice replacement. http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e186/300...nt=P2274353.jpg So, just to give you an idea of the kind of dealer EL is; I sent an email today that I will be sending the funds either today or tomorrow. His response was: I’m going out of town, so, I’ll send your item today. Wow, no funds, no nothing…just all around trust and confidence. This, my friends, is a good dealer…that’s why I stick with the best. Now, let’s just hope it gets to the U.S. without too much difficulty. I’m looking forward to this one!

Agreed Indy. Oh, and the other two ideas were prior to the RWG collaboration watch. I thought it might be worth a shot, but that's what happens when I think too much. I have more...so, when I get the time, I'll show em to you guys.

I'm looking for the right A.L.&S. Flyback Chrono, but this is quite nice.

I'm with High Def on this one. I just don't say anything, but if they do...kill them immediately. Love my reps.

Welcome back Shady!! Good to see your avy again.

Wait! Did Andrew make a mistake and sent me a Genuine Planet Ocean?

Stunning watch. I've wanted one of these for a long time. Even before they started repping this one. Wear it well. -
Ha Ha...Sure...no problem. I'll get back to you on this one. By the way, I inquired with Abay a while back at the old RWG about actually working on a couple of "personal items" for my NOLA buddies. When I saw the FROGMARINER, I had tons of ideas. I created some images, kind of like above, with the following: 1) The FLEUR-DE-MARINER (with King Louis' flower on top, and "summer" blue bezel) 2) The CRAWFISHMARINER (with a crawfish on top, and red "Coke" bezel) He was quite impressed, but said I needed a lot of guaranteed buyers. I got about 5 guys from my area to agree...but, that wasn't 1/20th of the amount he wanted. So...I quit. Oh well...it's all in fun!

Ha Ha...Yep...I like it. Good call Indy. Same as yours, just a couple of additions, but a quick draft:

Quite nice...let me take a stab at it as well...I'll get back to you with some pics.

Welcome James! Good luck...and read read read...that will save you on your first plunge. But, be careful...it's addicting.

American Heart Association approved exercises
SubFrog replied to Undermeman's topic in The looney bin
Actually, I'm just a spectator at the gym. I'll pull up a chair, crack a brew, and watch as she exercises. It may be too much work for me at the moment. Loverly! -
Yes EK, The only reason I HAVE this LV is because I brought it with me on my trip prior to the events. All the others: Kaplooey! I may see you in ole B.R. if it starts acting up again around here. I'm a bit trigger happy right now and the little rain storm last night made me nervous. So, back on subject: how do I get a Fleur De Lis Rollie? Now, that would be good NOLA style!

Hey Hanky! Glad to see ya! Welcome back!
