  1. I'm surprised your video has not had any comments or ratings
  2. love it!!, But when are the factories going to do something about the damn blue screws?? I mean how many almost perfect reps are ruined with something so sill and easily fixed as a set of plain old silver screws.
  3. My new favorite watch... has not left my wrist since arriving
  4. Luminox run at around 20% failure rate so thats why they haven't been mentioned probably.
  5. Great post, Agree 100%. I'd go with a Tissot T Tracx or T Race myself. I'd stick to a quartz for what your wanting to do.
  6. Looks great, I dont post a lot but sure do miss the place when its down
  7. Nope not a Tag, Rolly, or Omega.. how do you attach photos full screen?
  8. lol isint that the case with at least 50% of all even the "expensive reps". I own a decent collection of both $100 reps and $200-300 reps, and wouldent suggest that there is much difference in the quality control that goes into either. Quality conrol is the 2 words that come up more often then any other two when talking about reps. Thing is if the QC at the chinnese worker in the factory making Casios to retail for $50 each can do a decent job youd think the QC at a factory putting out reps that sell for $100-500 could do a simmilar job. It's a pointless discussion really as nothing will and ever does seem to change as far as QC is concerned, I guess the answer is to Buy a Gen within your budget if you want something made to last and without flaws.
  9. After buying a few middle of the road gens latley and watching pricing on high end watches come down due to the economic crisis I cant help but be a little supprised that none of the main rep dealers have lowered their prices. The mark up for the dealers must be huge when you consider how cheap the parts and labour costs are in China. I mean when you can pick up nicely made "Swiss made" Swiss Army, Tissot, Invictia etc for cheaper then you can a poorly made quartz rep it kinda has you wondering. Any way just something I was thinking about while wearing my $450 Swiss Army Maverick II Chrono I picked up the other day for $84.
  10. Man Church doesn't your watch cut off the blood circulation to your hand?
  11. Tight, I Play a lot of sport and dont like them moving around etc.
  12. This is actually a really good post. The same thoughts go through my head daily. I have a small collection of mostly very good quality (at least is theory good the $200+ reps) replicas and for the most part love my collection, however I cant help but sometimes wish i'd saved my money and bought 1 or 2 really nice genuine watches. I also find myself really wanting to wear a replica but finding it hard to do so when I want the watch to work. That said all my watches work but do so in an inferior way to a cheaper gen. EG: I like to wear my Carrera and aquaracer but always end up going with My Gen Tissot or Swiss Army, just because they are without fault and work!! The Lume is 2X as bright on them, I dont have to look after every hand was or shower to see if they have fogged up, and dont have to hope people dont look to close to see the tiny imperfections that almost all reps have (misaligned bezels, hairs under the glass, crooked hands etc...). My Swiss army Maverick II Is an awesome watch and I actually picked it up cheaper then ANY replica ive ever bought and it looks amazing. Lume is phenomenal, Dial pops, and the workmanship, and style are both top notch. There is also the re-sale problem. I can sell Gen's I no longer want but dont even bother to try on rep forums etc. That said I still buy Reps. I just dont completly know why. It's really kind of an addiction... well not kinda..it is! I'd rather wear a rep over an invictia and day of the week, but take Brands like Tissot, Hamilton, and Swiss Army over any Rep.
  13. Thanks offshore. Looks like only the seconds hand can be rest reading the OS10 Manual. No mention of the Minute or Hour hands unfortunatly.
