  1. hola ken!

i have no definite clue and i bet my pants

    nobody reading/listening "mass media" has!

i was worried too because im beeing together

with about 400 different people during a year...

that makes me a high potential person for infectious

    such as H1N1.

at the moment it looks like we are somehow "safe"

in germany, but if an outbreak comes to europe... who is?

the more i read and hear it seems to me that the whole

swine-flu thing is somehow "set up" and pushed by authorities/media...

considering the (few) deaths and lethal cases

the worst thing that can happen is that they will use

this thing for forced vaccination in US (look at some new

laws brought up recently) and they could even enpower

    martial law over the people.

I guess thats waht some people want...

So do the simple "math of doom" of what can

happen so quick - you need:

    1. Another sudden impact on the financial market -

best time is when nobody expects it, cause some people

think weve already reached the bottom line of the world-financial-crisis yet

    (maybe collapse of the dollar??)

    2. A second "wave" of the H1N1 Virus - which is evoked

as a "must" to happen by mass-media for end of 2009 - more lethal than

the first rush (that will give $$$ to the big pharma and neocons)

    3. Another "terror" attack on the us citizens -

for ex. see how homeland security labels most of freedom loving

    US citizens as terrorists

    CONCLUSION?

See now how "far" away you are in US and other countries

that follow from riots in the streets etc.?

If just 2 of the above mentioned points are going to happen

you WILL receive MARTIAL LAW in the US.

Funny thing is to remember when was the last

time in history - europe/germany - when somebody

was talking about "homeland" - you see the roots now ;)

of homeland-security and what most things are about?

Just my 2 cents Ken... but beware the

    POWER OF DORKNESS

  2. Has anyone seen... Looks too good?

    Yes... indeed!!

Ive been gone thru this s*** before,

thanxs to places as rwg and other boards ive never lost a dime

on a "scam artist site"... let me tell you what you should try

if u wanna have some fun ;)

---> email them that you are interested but demand a

better pic of the rep (or a close up shot)

in 50% of the cases youll get a shitty pic of a jpn or cn fake

in the other 50% of the cases they will ignore you!!

One of my funniest experiences was that it took

the operator of a so called "super a+++ replica site"

almost 7-9 email-responses to admit that he isnt able to

sell/source me the "replica" displayed on his site!!

Funny was that meanwhile he sent me pictures (also close ups)

of at least 7 different reps, none of them identical with

the pics on his site :) after that, he admited that he

isnt able to source me one of the displayed reps on his site!!

    Stay away dude.

We are the Replica-Beta-Testers - stick to the well known dealers of the board!

Just to ask Puggie for the Davidsen fiddy... who has the best sub in

BK MBK too lol and the PMs to Kenberg and da senior members :)

  5. Its pure fantasy?

the Noobmariner comes from the noobfactory though does it not?

Why is the one from chris 300 then if its for sale from narikaa for 100?

    Sorry getting confused again.

    sorry dont want to mingle:

kelster means that the one from chris/eurotimes about 300 is

the euromariner-sub and the one that sells from narikaa is the

noobmariner for about 100 bucks. Thats 2 different models.

    cheers george

... and greetz to frank ;)

  6. The old, long gone MBK Jumbo (15202)...

    [Great watches, no doubt...

Can somehow understand how u and people down here

feel about new models gen and reps.

Nothing much worthy compared to older models from

    the factories...

But PLS dont tell me you sold that mbk classic AP 15202???

  7. I think asking to have a closer look is offensive. .

Hmm... interesting thread :D we always have these once in a while.

Its funny to read what other people come across.

I dont think that it is really offensive to ask in agently manner to take a closer look

    on ones guys watch ;)

you have to differentiate imo pretty much on "where" you do ask,

on which occasion and "who" you ask.

It can be completely fine to ask if for example you do subsequently

explain that you just want to take a glimpse because you are too a

    watch-nut person :)

I dont want to hijack but i just had 3 "encouters" of this kind

dealing with the topic "gen watch/nice watch or not":

The firts one where i was 101% sure that the watch was a rep

was a short attendance in a shop for cell phones...

I was just entering to ask about a certain celly i was interested in

when i immediately spotted a fake rlx gmt on the wrist of the

shop-owner... it was easy to tell, the watch wasnt at all in a decent

condition and had some really large water drops on the inside of the

dial as if he went swimming with the crown released lol.

They didnt had the type of phone i was interested in store altough

it was advertised by the company.

During the sales conversation i could "filter out" some excuses of

the owner that sales werent that good during past months.

In this case, i would never mention something about his watch

or about the water damage! Ok, i could be wrong as well about my

valuation of his "rep" but cmon who the f**k would spent the money

on a genuine rolex and NOT send it for service when he runs

a shop for mobile phones with customer attendance??

When i got out of the shop i couldnt restrain myself of a big grin :D sorry

The second encounter of this kind was during an external training course

of the insurance company i work. This time i was the one that somehow

should have been playing the "victim part". We were mixed together,

all in all about 20 persons including senior management of the company.

Some of the faces known for years, others completely new to me.

I wore my daily beater (mbk ap jumbo) as usual for biz attendaces,

all people came dresses in suits... one of the senior manager

did spott my watch during training excursion.

We werent familiar/known to each other at all before that time.

Maybe he didnt also know my name before he asked me about my watch.

In a short smoking-break of the training course i was standing together with

some colleagues and executives i know for many years.

Then this coarsely son wearing a ss quartz tag-heuer chimed inside

our group, standing about 4 feet away of my shoulder,

the first think he said was "Is this a gen one?"

    lol

I instantly replied "Yes, what did you expect?"

    lol... what an a**hole!!

Beeing inside this biz for about 12 years, i would never

ask something like that in front of other people or in private.

I dont care too much about other peoples clothing habits

but i know for sure many associates of mine wearing almost

everything from rolex over breitling to omega and panerai.

Ok... i leave the comments to you.

The last encounter where i (somehow) did behave like

a stupid a**hole was when i was in town (frankfurt on the main)

visiting an AD i just know passing by:

I was wearing an VC Overseas rep, did just have a client date

nearby and was just glancing at some AP ROOs and a AP jumbo

is saw in the display window. This area (street) is very well known

for its ADs and fashion boutiques. Before entering the shop,

i first had to give a sign to one of the securities to push the

button for the release buzzer of the shop door. Its not that unusual

in that area of the city and often you can hear of attempted robberies ;)

but i wasnt going to shot somethin like this.

After beeing asked by one of the salesgirls, replying i am

interested in AP watches, i was told to wait... they will send me

somebody "special". A minute later one of the head salesman

and watchmaker did arrive at my table. I said i wanted to take a

closer look at one of the AP watches, a ROO displayed in the window

and furthermore id like to see both AP jumbos (15202 and 15300).

We started a little conversation then... just general bla bla and small talk

on what my occupation is and what watches i wear usual.

When i sat there, talkin and holdin the watches in hands... trying

them on my wrist i didnt notice the sound of the door buzzer

anymore. Our table was near the shop door. Everytime somebody

wants to enter or to leave the shop, somebody of the sales ppl has to

push the button first. Irritating sound, but i was so immersed inside

the beautiful pieces i held that i ignored this surrounding.

After a while (must have been about 15 minutes inside shop) the

head salesman noticed my VC Overseas i had to lay off

the table to try on the APs. Beautiful watch - he said - may i have

a closer look? Without beeing able to make a clear thought about it,

i said - yes. After the AD took the VC in hands, turning it around

and inspecting it, my indisposition arose :( thanks god i ended my

exploration on the 3 APs he brought to our table and i could

lay all of the 3 watches on the table - giving him a grin -

just as if i wanted to say without words - "fine watches, can i have my

VC now and leave?". He then said, "fine piece you have there" laying back

the VC on the table... puh. :o:lol:

I just asked somethin about prices of the ROO and the jumbo models

and put my watch quick on again. I said, im sorry i have to leave because

my "midday break" is over now but im interested in one of the jumbos.

He said, about the price we can talk about a deduct in discount and he

gave me his card. We shook hands, i turned around and left the shop

after he pushed the door release button for me. I must have sweat under

my sports coat. Believe it or not, before i got inside my car - i took a

closer look on his card - besides watchmaker it said: AD for Audemars Piguet

bla bla and ---> Vacheron Constantin! lol

I dont know if he detected my watch as a rep, but one thing is for sure:

i would have never do this again, if i knew the guys inside the shop were

    ADs for Vacheron Constantin!

    lol

Everything mentioned aboved is for entertainment purpose only
