  1. Would you take one if the SOSF factory decided to make one with the same standards? I really like the watch, but the ones available look like crap.

    Cheers!

hmm - I don't think mine looks too bad, but I haven't seen the cheapies up close, so can't comment there. However, I'd love a gen ETA + AR + decent lume version so yeah, if the SOSF factory produced one, I'd be VERY interested.

  2. golly gosh is just as offensive and alot fooking cheaper

Just not as much [censored] fun... :D

I'm beginning to appreciate the censorship, actually - means I can call anyone a [censored] [censored] [censored] and then they have to guess how badly I REALLY think of them.... ;)

Well, swiftly drop-kicking it through the right hatch doesn't take very long....

  4. Hey, they're reps! You don't expect them to last forever do you???!!! I can see reps aren't going to make you happy - so just buy a gen!

okay smarty-pants. So which gen has mysteriously vanishing subdial hands, then.... huh? huh? answer me that! Only reps can be that cool....

    B)

  5. Unless you were timing something why would you be running it?

A colleague owns a gen Breitling on which he leaves the chronos running continuously. He says he does it because he can't read the subdials easily (he's rather myopic), and he likes to see that the watch is running.... go figure.

That is why everyone's Daytonas blow up. ^_^

Not according to The Zigmeister, it ain't.... :brow:

  6. It is taking more than 1 minute for even the forum index to refresh now.

RWG has been running very slow for the past 2 days. Is anyone checking into this?

Interesting - although there have been a few slow moments I've noticed over the last few days, the forum index is refreshing quickly (5 secs or so) for me 98% of the time.

Mind you, I'm used to RWG1 - just about anywhere feels fast by comparison with that...
