  1. Amazing deal - aaaaaaaaaaaaand it doesn't look like a Christmas ornament unlike the one you posted the other day Well done - looking forward to the pics when you get it
  2. I'm trying to resist atm - I've got three watches on the way as it is..... It's definitely on my list for the near future, though
  3. I really like the look of this: 43mm Asian 6498 handwind. Sapphire Crystal with double AR. Deployant clasp Only $178 Very tempting.... http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=3454
  4. Idolreplicas is Tonyxkf/WatchEden - a long-established and trusted dealer - as the previous poster said, he's a forum dealer at RWI and also has a CQout shopfront with a very good feedback rating. Idolreplicas was always Tony's "pull in the punters" site (he also owns Rolex2u.com) and he markets it pretty aggressively. It's a shame he's decided to spam YouTube users with it, but I guess things are tight atm. However, I've bought from him on several occasions and he's both helpful and reliable, so don't start assuming he's a scammer - he isn't
  5. Except for Jamaican Blue Mountain :D
  6. uh. no. You can show up as Herbalife if John doesn't get there first, though
  7. Yes You do realise that all that gives you is the privilege of ducking the rotten tomatoes thrown by the rest of us?
  8. Folks, I don't want to say too much (especially as I don't wish to tread on any toes here at rwg.cc - I like this place a great deal and have an awful lot of respect for the admins and mod team), but we're going to do this. Progress is being made right now. Hopefully, the Admin here will allow us make an announcement when we're ready - we'll ask permission before we do so, however. It won't be competition for this board (couldn't be even if we wanted to compete - this place is too damn good ) . What I hope it will become, however, is another 'animal house of watch forums', and 'home' for the misfits and refugees from rwg1 - somewhere we can play up cranky in our inimitable fashion without upsetting others. Before you ask, yes, it will be pretty much unmoderated (to the same degree as RWG1). I hope that we will be able to incorporate the posts from the old board, but that remains to be seen. Approaches have been made and we await a response. Bear with me a short while - this isn't going to happen overnight, but it IS going to happen. Maybe we'll fail like the other two boards recently - I don't know, but it's got to be worth a try. Anybody who wants more info is welcome to PM me, but in all fairness to rwg.cc, I won't answer questions in the public threads here.
  9. Nope, sorry - you're wrong on this one, mate. I've been researching what's available and replica-watch-guide.com has been registered since 2005. There are some options, however. Give me another day or two and I'll report back.
  10. ROFL! At least! It's amazing how well they can run an almost up-to-date server OS, though (was the latest when I installed it a couple years ago) - I certainly wouldn't want to try the same with Windows Server!
  11. Tea? Ugh. Never touch the stuff. I have a Gaggia espresso machine on the corner of my desk at work....
  12. This is neat. I don't know how folks figure all this stuff out. Enjoy. 1. Click here to get to the coffee machine 2. Put the coin in the machine 3. Choose your drink 4. Click on the cup when ready 5 Click on 'Open' This supports a long-held theory of mine.....
  13. John, Yes, what you did was wrong but it took a lot of courage to admit to it and apologise. I'm not one of the injured parties, so my rights to an opinion on this are limited, but I couldn't say it better than RobbieG. I sincerely hope that those concerned will see this the same way.
  14. Damn - John, I hope it doesn't come to that. From some of the stuff I've heard about goings on there, one suspects that you were the least of the problems... Hope it works out, mate.
  15. Yup - me too, but then I'm not a gamer. If I was into games I'd probably be doing what kazi just did Nice lookin' rig, mate - I can't be bothered to do that kinda thing any more, but I certainly understand the appeal. I admin a Windows-based domain at work (although I do it from a Mac, but there ya go), and have a couple of Windows machines at home, but do most of my computing (whether work or personal) on a Mac My primary comp at home is a 17" MacBook Pro with 4gb RAM and the HD screen. Does all I need it to and more. Got a couple of older Macs too - both used as servers. One houses our music collection (around 300gbs worth), which is streamed across our LAN to a Soundbridge attached to our audio system. The other is used as a mail/web/irc/ftp/file server. Both are elderly (9 years old) G4 machines running last year's OS X server, they have a little over 2tb of storage between them and 1gb RAM each. Not exactly latest tech, but they're reliable and do what's necessary =] There's also an old *nix server (1st generation Xeon CPUs, SCSI RAID 5, OpenBSD which I use as backup storage) and a couple of Dell boxes that I use as Win 2003 Server testbeds when I'm trying out something I'm planning to implement on our systems at work. I've also got a 17" HP laptop running XP knocking around. I bought it for occasional work-related use, but most of the time it only gets used by the missus for email and web browsing.
  16. ooooo - now that's nice. Very tempting indeed.....
  17. Let's not rush into things, okay? Let's just wait until John gets some feedback. Merging two SQL databases across two versions of iPB isn't trivial.
  18. Yup - I hear ya, although it's gotta be worth trying to persuade him to give us access to the old database before we go ahead and start again....
  19. That looks great, Luthier. Enjoy!
  20. I think you may have just described the ideal architectural configuration for the entire site - viz. "Loony Bin" & "Test." That seems to cover all the bases...
  21. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=565659 hmm - well if that wasn't you, your account must've been hijacked... Onzenuub is Klink and I claim my 5 psychiatric evaluations......
