If everybody hates paul, how come he has so many satisfied customers?
Masochists, or.............?
-
Does the real one say Purdey on the front of the engraved case cover? otherwise it looks spot on.

My favorite! it's heavy........but it is sooo cool!

It's a nice one........even with those flaws. I think it's a keeper.

I used to freeze frame on great shots of stunning women. Now I go back and forth to freeze frame on the watch shots. How far I've fallen.....
You need help
Go back to the women
...........or just freeze frame on stunning women wearing interesting watches.

Good responses. I agree with all of them.Visual accuracy has improved dramatically. Mechanically, and Lume, date font issues, etc. need to worked on.
Asian movements are improving but would like to see more swiss versions. We've shown that we'll spend the money. Especially for Chrono's.
.......last, but not least...........QUALITY CONTROL.

I've got a couple of them. I can't believe that now they are turning into collector's items????

Great, thanks Pug. Luv Thailand. Haven't been there in many years and have fond memories.

I received mine from Joshua last friday. Dead on Arrival. I took it to my watchsmith (who is really a watchmaker) and left it with him. Came back today and he said, "I just serviced it and reassembled and it has been running fine. I asked him about the movement and extra gears. He just shrugged and said everything works fine. Never mentioned the tight fit, etc.. Actually smiled and said the Chinese are very inventive fellows.
Could it just be a problem on some (hands, etc.) and not on others?
MIne works fine now and chrono's reset perfectly.

Neil, I'd be interested. Please keep me in the loop.

It's still a winner!

Actually, that is very funny that they thought it was ok to use a Jaxa type wrench. Real pro's,LOL

I must have missed this thread.
Mark, I only know you from your voice on the forums, and for me, you're a treasure for this hobby. Enjoy "retirement" and I for one am glad you're sticking around. I've learned a lot from you.

Bezel swirls! the bain of a paneristi's existence.
What to do?
What a problem to have.

there are numbered ticks of 5 intervals on the inside ring. I've never seen that on a moonwatch.

That's a great project. I love that dial.

Beautiful watches. Great taste. Congratulations.

should be 43x43mm not 41mm.

I've got more than 25 watches with that movement. I wear them......I put them on winders........never had a problem.
BTW, I have both watches and the Tag gets more wrist time. It's such a beauty. Nothing wrong with the PO. It just doesn't have the panache of the Tag chrono.

Absolutely Gorgeous!!

Neil, Great story. Most of us have come to the Rep hobby solely because of the internet. Imagine.....this group from every corner of the globe......nothing in common but this hobby. It's probably also prodded the manufacturer's to improve quality to the level it is now achieving......And guys like you who have the ability to bring these quality forgeries to our attention....
Ain't life great!
