  1. So you got your Navi Robert... how would you describe the watch? It looks virtually perfect to me. I probably gotta break my "no gold" rule with this one... especially now that it's available on a bracelet.

Bytor, It's quite a stunner. The one flaw I intend to correct is the subdial hands. They are white. On the original they are black, so they are easy to read in the sunlight. I'm going to paint mine black also. Other than that the Gold bezel is perfect. I think it may be one of the nicest Breitlings of all.

  2. Yesterday, after reading some of these posts I decided to wear my Sky/Moon. Wore it to a party. Within an hour I had about seven comments (I mean.....it kind of stands out!). When they asked me what it was and what it costs I told them the original costs over a million........but mine only cost a $100 bucks. Everybody just laughed.....and then wanted to know where they could get one.

  3. I also received the Panda (silver/black subdials) and had the same reaction only because a few days later the black/white subdial version showed up. Having many watches I've been lucky. This is the first time I wasn't thrilled with a purchase. Not because it isn't a beauty, but because I liked the black version better. I've worn it once and it is sitting in my watch case now. Will probably sell it at a ridiculous price.

Ryaku, you can always sell/trade it and move on. I should.

  4. Wow , this is much higher than i thought. ok - I think the plans were talking about here would work. With low fees. You could let it go auto for 1 dollar a month, or pay the 12 bucks up front (90% of people will just pay the 12 bucks) But when you offer the 1 dollar, it sounds better :)

re: supporter trading forum - if we got int he habit of posting there first fora few days at least - i think people would definatly want in. The longer i hvae been around the more i realize the value of trading and frankly the best deals are gone within hours if not a day or 2.

The suggestion that dealers post in a vip forum first affects there sales. What do they think?

The most practical suggestion is for those that visit regularly to anti up the fee. All these other suggestions, while well meant, simply reduce access. If I'm a newbie and I visit to check this forum out, I want to see everything. That's going to entice me to come back. If I don't have access to purchasing I'm less interested. After all, that's why I'm here. Hopefully, I'll get hooked (as so many of us do).

Put the pressure on those who visit regularly who don't pay. Don't penalize the newbie's who are the future lifeblood of these forums.

  5. I agree. Chrono's have come a long way..........but still not accurate. And probably will never be spaced correctly as long as there using the 7750. They would literally have to invent a new movement to achieve this (or replicate the real deal, which ain't easy or probably financially practical.

It wouldn't stop me from getting one (and, in fact, hasn't) since the I won't go marching into an AD to show it off.

  6. Hey, you guys have it easy. I've got about 70+. I tend to rotate once a day (sometimes change for the evening). I'd estimate same 20 get worn each month and the rest only occasionally (sometimes I resist a Pam for a week or so). The Breit's, IWC's, Omega's get worn regularly. The Rollie's (12) tend not to get worn much.

Occasionally I can't resist a Blancpain or JVC or Maurice Lacroix. Luv em, just don't wear them as much.
