What rep do you have exactly? From whom? I'm curious... Most ADs will smell a rep across the room...
I have the same rep By-Tor has reviewed (from TTK). When you take close up photo's you mght see a difference....not when you look at them side by side NO.
Chief...I said there is a minor difference. Not with Close up photo but on the wrist. I understand your desire for the perfect rep. This as perfect as I've seen, but then again I'm not "anal" about it. I don't obsess about minute details that only someone from this forum might.
And my experience with most AD's, whether it be Omega Seamasters, Bentley's and a host of other newer reps, they can't tell the difference without you mentioning it. According to them this is the best one they seen and admitted it fooled them.
...Of course, there not studying close up photo's.
I wish you well in finding a 100% exact rep of the gen. I'm enjoying my "96%" now.

I've been reading this discussion with some interest. Today i received mine. I have a couple of Gens. I had to study the Gens to see if the rehaut is different. It is........but barely noticeable except to those obsessed by it.
Than I took it to my AD to size the bracelet. He was a little [censored] that I hadn't bought from him. Then I told him it was a rep. He laughed and "no it isn't. I can spot a rep a mile away" (LOL). When I convinced him he called over two other sales people. They could not find any flaws. They don't focus on the little details.
I was laughing and told him the Chinese are going to put them out of business. They were literally stunned.
So much for obsessing over the details.

I just noticed Joshua has just listed one. No details yet, but I'm waiting......
Great comparison. I've wanted one for a long time and you've moved me to start looking.

Great watch. I picked up the white dial version. It IS very close to accurate.
congrats.

That is one of the best. Great work The Zigmeister. My hats off to you. The lume looks perfect in the pics.
-
Joshua has just posted a new one. Looks pretty damn good. No price listed yet.

The Tag is more accurate. The PO is verry nice. The Chrono version is innacurate due to the incorrect subdial spacing.
The Tag and the PO (42.5) are very nice. I have both. I wear the Tag more. Just my personal taste.

Very nice. Great to see it came out fine.
-
Great story. Great watch. wear it well!

I don't think so. I've worn my senna into an AD and looked at other tags. Didn't notice a difference........but wasn't looking for differences in color.
-
.......and a great rep. One of the all time best.
-
Great article. thanks.

The Zigmeister, I thought it would be hopeless after the last post. Wow! you're an artiste!

^^^^ The Senna especially if the date in the window is centered. I don't wear it between days 24-31 when the date is off-center and leans toward the right side. The rest of the month the date is OK.

well, I'll give you some first hand info. They claim a missile hit the pentagon....not a plane. There is an faa hanger full of aircraft parts recovered from the Pentagon site. Maybe the missile had an airplane inside of it?
Of course, the planes passengers were all part of it, right?
Actually, "they" were also planning on bombing "the grassy knoll" but ran out of time.

I have both and prefer the Senna because of the dial. It's different and It's a limited edition. The normal tag is sold by the thousands.
The senna is rarer. Both are beauties.

don't let the screw down crown issue prevent you from getting it. It is NOT an issue. If you want it, get it. It is a fantastic rep!
-
1st class! Great choices.
-
I think it's a beauty. I already have the VC overseas in black, otherwise I'd add this one.
enjoy it.
-
I like it too. Just needs that famous black date wheel. Why do they continue to screw up the date wheels?
