  1. Its been a long time without internet access. For some reason RWG was a blocked site in Myanmar, where I have been travelling for 3 weeks. So back to Canada for 5 days then I will be off to Tokyo on Saturday. Talk about some gruiling flights. But I should be use to it by now, I hit this side of the pacific 4 times in 2006 and SA 3 times. I have more airmiles than I know what to do with, guess I need more vacation days!!! I did see some nice watches at MBK in my stopover, but the prices were higher than our dealers so a big thumbs up to them on the competitive pricing.
  2. So I am bored sitting in the International Terminal Star Alliance Lounge here in Vancouver and I have seen a lot of nice watches today. Its a bi deal for a guy from little old Calgary. I would take pics but thats just plain weird. So far I've seen: Breitling Chrono Avenger Another non-chrono SS Breitling (couldn't tell what it was) Sub Tag F1 and a lady with a J12
  3. Travelling today to head off on vacation, and I only brought one watch for the whole 3 week trip!!! The newest addition to my collection. Chrono PO
  4. 45.5 mm The recessed date is an issue, but less noticable than the subdial spacing. It is really only noticable up close from odd angles.
  5. A couple of wrist shots.
  6. Also forgot to mention that this watch tested water proof to 100m.
  7. Dempsey's original review did sway me to this watch especially after I tried on the gen SMP Chrono and PO back to back this is such a bold yet sporty watch.
  8. Not a bad idea, but for that money I could get 4 more watches. Although this one isn't "perfect" like some of the new reps it is still fantastic and unless your sitting next to someone wearing the gen you won't be called out. I was afraid the spacing would bug me but so far I am satisfied.
  9. When this watch first came out I tried it on the AD, and if it would have been priced closer to the SMP Chrono price I would have had the gen. I would have thought this would have been a hugely popular rep but I have only seen a few reviews. Although it may not be quite as exact as the Ultimate PO this is still a great rep. The tell tail sign as has been stated before is the subdial spacing. But realistically it is the size of the 3,6,9 due to this spacing that really give it away. But honestly unless it was sitting next to a gen, or you specifically new about this issue you would never pick this up. Some other small issues are that the pearl is slightly off center just like the regular PO, and the AR is not as good as the gen. This watch looks smaller than a 44mm PAM but on the wrist it feels substantial. This is by far my heaviest watch, but it is still quite comfortable. One problem is due to the thickness of this version (much thicker than non-chrono version) it does not fit under a sleeve, but makes a great watch for the weekend or with a golf shirt. If you are a big PO fan this is a must. Not a full review but here are some pics.
  10. Josh doesn't have it I already asked.
  11. Chrono PO No pic yet since it just arived today but I will be wearing it for a few days straight I suspect.
  12. I just got mine today from Sash. Its a nice sporty watch. Its thick though so its hard to fit under your sleave, but has nice presence, and not nearly as dramatic as most of the pams I wear. A very good rep, but the subdial spacing and small font on 3,6 and 9 are the tell tail signs. But the quality is A+ and if you didn't know to look for those flaws it is a great rep. AR is better than I was expecting too. Should have pics up this weekend if I get a chance.
  13. I noticed too, but you beat me to the punch.

    Go Bears

+1 for the bears. Seatle must lose since they beat the Cowboys.
  15. I have also been looking for this. The only ones made have the old 7750 in it. Plus they are the newer run with really bad pearl.
  16. Thats a really cool add. But I bet most of the general public doesn't get it. Not that it is targeting the general populus.
  17. Won't ship to Canada
  18. 1995 Chevy Cavalier. Was my 16th birthday present. Crashed it into a poll 3 weeks later while showing of for my friends.
  19. 090 sorry for the bad pick but it was damn cold and I couldn't take it any longer.
  20. Today is Santos Day, I think tonight I will wear the 217 though.
  21. I am going to be in BKK in 2 wks and would love to buy a MBW @ MBK just for the experience, if only I knew where to look. Maybe will spend a 1/2 day hunting.
  22. Original Post
  23. I love this watch, but being a bit younger than most on the board I find it a bit to "mature" for me. However it usually hits the wrist once a week with a suit.
  24. Today I am going for an understated look. Meeting a new client for the first time so don't want to be too flashy.
