Sorry to offend, but why do I have a feeling this guy is the mastermind behind exactwatches, just create a new account just to scam someone? The last thing I remember, when I was new to reps, I nearly fell into exactwatches scam... and one watch is way higher than $75

Apology accepted I had a bad week myself. Probably why I wrote with emotion without mentioning the details clearly. For the graphix incident, I was the first one to contact him via msn to inform him that he was involved in recent dispute... I am not helping him anyway cos I think its irresponsible. From what I gathered, He didnt mean to scam that guy. He was in camp and told his maid to settle the shipping. He didnt see to the shipping personally. That was when the shipping was sent wrongly, maybe the payment from WU was sent wrongly. I cannot be sure if the watch he received is spoilt, he should have sent the watch back to the guy who who traded with him since he was the one who didnt see to the shipping properly. The way he saw it is since he didnt got the money or the watch, he rather keep the pam than to lose out. I cant bear to explain that in RG cos I am not sure of the details and that is my speculation. I am the only one who saw him before and people may have thought I was his friend and was helping him to say smt. I wont want to incur public wrath. speculation not = proof.

Not to offend I am not a whiner. I just want to show how some people can be after the after service. I was promised a 2gb card. I explained after the later post but people seems not to care and keep saying that I shouldnt have the card as a package since it is free to him. As you all know I always wanted to get myself a Canon G9.. I asked around where to get a cheap G9. Meanwhile, I like to thanks Swissaddict for his recommendation even thought I didnt buy his G9 last time. In the end, I found 2 local sellers selling G9, one offering at S$450 without any warranty left, one offering at S$500 around (USD335, expensive as e-bay selling at a brand new usd$277) with 2 months of local warranty. I decided to got for the S$500 since if there is any problem, I still have 2 months old of warranty. In his ad, he mentioned the G9 with standard package. I didnt bargain the price anyway. I went out of my way to go to his area to meet him. (bus and train) The first impression is a nice friendly guy who smiles a lot and willing to help me out. He mentioned he has a lot of camera so he decided to sell this one. He passed me all the receipt and warranty which stated he was given a 2GB SD card. ( Almost all camera shop in Singapore gives a free storage card anyway with the purchase of a new camera) Upon reaching home, I realised i was given only a mere 32MB card. I messaged him about the SD card which he sms me that he didnt promise me to give me the card. I said its only right that he gave me the card since its comes free with the canon G9. He said he lost a lot for the depreciation of the camera and I should be happy with it. [censored]. the two faced snake. He even went far that he was very angry to meet a unreasonable and ridiculous buyer. I was [censored] not cos of just the card. I can go and buy it at around usd 15. but I was [censored] because the way he behaved and acted is totally different before and after the sale. At least in RG, I check if my buyers receive the stuff, okay etc... There is once when a buyer had received a spoilt watch from me and I was about to refund him but thank god, the watch works miraculously again. (Thank god, and thanks to the buyer who is honest) I understand US is a spending economy and Singapore is a saving economy. However, there is no reason to behave like that. Furthermore, I am still a student studying and have limited funds and he is working.. Must he be so stingy and fussy and break promises like that just for a miserable usd$15 bucks? There are also shops there offering local warranty as well.. definitely cheaper than other place as they are selling to Havery Norman... Let me call to check the price. but I think it is still at around S$750 range ... Anyone can give me some lobang as in getting a cheap G9 with some warranty left? or some place which offer cheap Canon G10 with local warranty?

cos while I am finding a G9 2nd hand, I found that the 2nd hand price is at S$450 to S$500 with no warranty remaining... Paying S$100 more I can get a brand new camera, not to mention a newer model. Its not at mustafa, its at High Street road. Seems like there are a lot of avid cameraists oso there... At best, in case being spolit, if they break their promise to ship for you and you dont want to ship to japan for repair yourself, we can hand to Canon repair at Funan to repair for us at a cost? Assuming the cost is less than 200. The price of a brand new one cost $780. Still think its quite worth it even for the worst case scenario. That's why i was hoping we can go and see?

I agreed on that too, but you cant visit the canon repair shop since it is not a local warranty. I was strolling along High street road when I saw this shop. Seems quite a lot of people inside, there are quite a few shops of camera importers over there as well. I took their word benefits of the doubt. Even if they break their promise and dont ship our camera for repair, maybe we can ship it back ourselves to Japan? Even without local warranty, I think S$625 is quite a deal. Hope if maybe with more people, we can push the price to S$600 (around USD400) Want to go down and have a look? meanwhile a small gtg coffee talk?

Brand New Canon G10: Singapore Bulk Purchase Reading after so much review on canon G9, I decided to pull the trigger of canon G10. I found an Indian shop which sell Japanese imported Canon G10 (sells other camera cheap as well). They are selling at S$625 a pcs. They promise to ship back to Japan for repair for you at their cost if the camera is faulty. The new batch is coming at next week (10 Feb). I was wondering if we go as a group to buy, we can get a cheaper price. Any Singaporeans interested? We can meet together to go down to buy. Reed
